Draco pushed the door open carefully, as if not to squash Apple. Apple hummed contently; it pleased the blonde boy that he was happy. Soon the pair reached the grass, and in the near distance Draco could make out his destination.
"We are nearly there!" The boy cried, grasping Apple tightly and running in its direction. Apple cheered in joy, encouraging him to go even faster. And so Draco did. He ran so fast he didn't see the log that was right under his feet. With an almighty screech, he fell to the floor, and Apple flew into the Black Lake.
Apple thought death was coming. The great depths of the water were coming nearer and nearer.
"Draco! Help me! Please!" The Apple cried in distress, plummeting into the lake.
Draco, being so utterly in love with Apple, forgot that he couldn't actually die from drowning. Because he was an apple. He ran swiftly to the lake, catapulting himself in with all the force he had. The water consumed him. Draco opened his eyes, desperate to find his love.
"I'm over here!" Apple cried, trying to get the boys attention. The blonde internally sighed and swam towards the direction of the sounds, glad that Apple was safe. He scooped up the fruit in his hands and swam to the surface.
Draco placed Apple delicately on the shore, and heaved himself up onto to it.
"Thank you for saving me" Apple said with gratitude. Draco grinned down at his fruity friend, and placed a chaste kiss on his shiny surface.
"I would do it for you any day" he whispered, looking at Apple with love. He couldn't believe how fast he had fallen for the fruit. But he didn't regret a minute of it. Every last 10 of them. They were very important to him.
"Draco, I'm extremely glad for you saving me. But I can't help to wonder- what is it that you wanted to show me?"
The blonde smiled down at his fruit, and grabbed a pair of shoes from his rucksack he had been wearing.
"I'm going to show you my dance moves."
Apple grinned in delight as Draco pulled on his ballet shoes. He couldn't wait to see the boy peform.
