As soon as we got back stateside I was back into full wedding mode, with only 2 full months left it was crunch time. 95% of the people who we invited said they were coming and flights for mainly my family were booked and hotel rooms were reserved; I was happy with how nicely everything was coming together. The only real problem I was facing was, convincing my sister to let Chanel come to my wedding, I knew getting her to say yes would be the hardest thing in the world; but Chanel was a thousand percent worth it.
Knocking on the door the door I couldn't help the nervous tap my foot was doing, I tried to stop but it led me to biting my nails; so tapping it was.
"Anastasia?" Jerome opened the door looking around to probably see if Sebastian was with me.
"I'm alone... sorry to drop by unannounced I just wanted to see if Melissa was here? I wanted to talk to her about letting Chanel come to my wedding?" I bit my lip and Jerome scoffed before opening the door wide open so I could walk in.
"She isn't here, her and your mother went to get their nails done. I'm pretty sure she isn't going to be too happy to see you, when we got back from LA she cursed your name for an hour straight. Speaking of which, what happened? WHen I asked she would just go off about how you were a..well I won't repeat it."
"I told her and my mom what they need to hear and I'll leave it at that. I'm not here to make her happy, I'm here to come to a compromise she may not like me and trust me I'm not a fan of hers, but Chanel means the world to me and you guys know ever since she was born; I love her more than life to itself. I want her to be one of my flower girls."
He rubbed the stubble on his face "Yeah... You know if it was just me I would say yes, but I highly doubt Mel is going to approve of that. To be quite frank pretty sure she hates your guts, I'm not sure why? I always thought you were a sweet girl. I mean it was kind of fucked up how you won't help family out but other then that I thought you were cool." I rolled my eyes not wanting to entertain his stupidity.
"Look please let her know I'm here and I'd really appreciate it if we could meet up for lunch and chat. I'm staying with our grandparents, I gotta go tell Chanel I said hi."

"Look she'll call... she figures you are going to beg to get back into her graces or something. That little heffa is just like her momma stubborn and dumb so I'm not saying it going to be the best conversation but it will happen." My grandma tried reassuring me that Melissa would actually see me, but I was having my doubts. It had been 3 days since I landed in Utah and talked to Jerome and nothing had come of it. My dad did managed to come over everyday and see me and everytime he tried to convince me to spend the night at his house but I'd be damned if I slept under the same roof as the wicked witch; she'd probably try and slit my throat where I slept.
"I know, I know but I have to get back home soon. I'm missing my baby so much."
"That's what good dick and love does to you..." My grand grinned as my grandpa just shook his head used to her crazy words.
"Grandma please!"
"What?! You better calm your little ass down... You know I'm right." My grandma grinned squeezing my grandpa's hand.
"Babygirl, I know why you won't go and it makes sense but maybe you should go to the family dinner tonight. I mean you know she'll be there and I heard the pastor will there as well so you know they won't act out, it the perfect time to talk." My grandpa chimed in as the voice of reason, I mean i was willing to see my sister since it dealt with my niece but if I never saw my Angela Clark again in my life I would be happy, but it seems liked I wasn't meant to be happy.
