                           Chapter 1:  A girl in the deep blue sea...


                            HARU'S P.O.V

       Me, Makoto, Nagisa and Rei were taking a practice vacation, you could say that.  Sasabe~sensei, provided a boat as always like our last trip.  "Okay, so how about we fish, everyone?"  Nagisa said as he grabbed the rods, "You might catch a shark, Nagisa."  Makoto said while he sweatdrop.  

           "It's alright!  Sharks can't be swimming in this beautiful sea!!"  Then he gave me a blue rod, "You sure?"  Rei said while taking a look at the fishing rod.  "Are you okay with it, Haru-chan?"  Makoto asked and I looked away, I just started fishing.  I waited for an hour so I can just get a fish, "It's so boring..."  Nagisa pouted, "You're the one who started this idea."  Rei said while shouting near at Nagisa's ear.  

           "Well, it's better if you use the fishing net."  Gou said.  "Good idea, Gou!"  Nagisa gave a thumbs up, and Gou got mad, "Call me Kou!!  Ohh..Forget it."

            Gou said while slapping her forehead.  "Well, it's better if we really use that, I'm getting hungry.  Hey Goro-sensei, how long until we get there?"  Nagisa asked and Sasabe-sensei looked at his watch,  "About 1 hour and 30 minutes."  And he continued monitoring the boat, "So, let's use the fishing net!!!!"  Nagisa raised his arm, then we prepared the fishing net, I wish we can get a mackerel.  =_=


               Then we just waited for the fish to fall for the fishing net, "Any minute now, the boat will gain weight."  Nagisa kept staring.  We waited for a minute then the bell rang, "Yahhoooo!  Pull it up!!"  

               We pulled it up with me and Makoto's arm struggling, "It's kind of heavy, Nagisa...You think we caught a shark?"  Rei looked at us both, "Maybe."  Nagisa just kept looking then we pulled it up but we caught something very weird.


              We caught a girl, she was trapped, she wears a black dress, with her hair on pigtails that has silver hair and has color blue at the tips of her hair and she looks helpless.  "What did we caught?"  Nagisa blinked his eyes, 

           "First of all, let's put her down!"  Gou shouted, then we put her down, inside the boat and Sasabe-sensei stopped the boat.  She sat down, waters dripping on the floor of the boat, and breathing calmly.

            Why did we caught a girl in the middle of the sea?  Then she stood up, "Oh, she knows how to stand up."  Nagisa said, then she suddenly tripped because of the wet floor, she bumped her head hard.

          We all came to her, "Is she alright?  Let's go back!"  Miho-sensei said and Sasabe-sensei started going back to the city, her head was red but she didn't look troubled or hurt at all.

           What kind of girl is this?  Then she suddenly touched the water as she stood up, and held the water splashing as we go back to the city, "Isn't she a little weird?"  Nagisa whispered to me.  "Hey, just look,"  Gou said and we stared at her, I saw the water crawling up to her head, and the bump on her head suddenly disappeared in thin air.  The water cured it?  "How...How did you do that?"  I asked and I stood up going near to her,

         "They call me the 'Deep Sea Girl'"  Then she disappeared going back to the water, we all went back to see her, she was swimming down, going deep at the sea.  

        "How much air does she have?  She can be a new member of our swimming club!"  Nagisa said and we all looked at him, "OI!!!"  Nagisa kept calling the girl.  But she wasn't there anymore, she already swam deeper and deeper.  "

        So, will be ban the practice?"  Sasabe-sensei asked, "Yeah, because of a little accident, it'll take 2 hours going back to the island."  Miho-sensei said and we all got back to the city......



               'Deep Sea Girl'  P.O.V

        Those people......  They look familiar....  Do I look like a monster to them...for now?  I saw fishes swimming to my direction and started to play with me, I love to play with them everyday and everynight.

         They are my only friends, I haven't seen the outside world but the sea, they might hate me.  But the boy's eyes, it looks like water, deep inside, he has a heart.  Blue as the carribbean sea, sparkling at the moonlight.....  Who was he?  I looked at the place, when I popped out of the water, it was a yellow or brown color surrounding all the places.  What do you call that?  I swam nearer at the surface, 

         I saw the solid or liquid, it gets wet when the water goes near, then I saw people, near at the sea, one swam by my side, but they didn't notice me as I hid in the water.  

         I tried to go to the surface, I got out of the water, and the solid-liquid? ground was warm, it sticked to my feet.  The people saw me, they were staring at me.  Do I look like a monster?

        I just kept on walking, this place makes me nervous and uneasy, with me taking all of the attention.  I tried to go somewhere, were I can see water except for the sea or ocean.  Then I saw a place, it was said 

         'Iwatobi High'  I walked in, it was called 'school'  "School of fish?"  I ran nearer but as I stopped walking, I heard the ripples of water, I sensed the water and I smell it from my wet nose.


        I kept walking until I reached the water, but it was different, it was a small sea, "What is this?"  I tried to jump in, then it felt warm, I felt comfortable, but it was small, not wide as the ocean or sea though.

       I kept swimming and swimming until it reached night time, I slept under the small sea, it was a little hard because it was a solid surface.  "It's different from the sea's ground."  I said while knocking but I slept. 



                     HARU P.O.V

        I was taking a bath with my swimming trunks on, "Haru-chan!"  Makoto opened the door, "What now?"  I asked.  He got nearer to me and reached out his hand, "Come o, Haru-chan.  We're going to be late again."

      "Stop it with the -chan-"  I grabbed his hand and pulled me up, and got out of the bath tub.  I started grilling mackerel, "Mackerel again?"  Makoto sweatdropped.  I finished breakfast and walked together with Makoto going to school.  I looked at the sea, and it reminded me of the girl of yesterday, "The girl from yesterday?"  

        I looked away, Why do you always know what I'm thinking, are you an esper or something? "But the girl, she cured her head just by touching the water."  I said and he answered back, "Magic, isn't it."  Makoto smiled, and we reached the school.  Then Gou came running to us, 

           "Senpai!!!!  Something's in the pool!!!"  She shouted, me and Makoto exchanged glances, then we ran to the pool.  


            When we reached the pool, we saw the girl.  "She's the deep sea girl!!"  Gou said and Nagisa came, "What happened?"  Nagisa asked and I pointed to the pool,  "WOOAAHHH!  Can you join us?!"

           That question now?  It looks like she was sleeping, but then she woke up because she heard Nagisa's loud voice.  Then she got out of the pool, "You again."  She looked at us with a straight look.  

            Who really are you? Deep Sea Girl??  How did you get here?!
