“Whatever” I said quietly as I pulled Justin’s head from my neck to my lips. Without thinking about it, we started to kiss. It was so natural. We knew exactly which way to lean, where to comfortably put our hands, what to do, things like that without hesitation. We just fit together perfectly. Sometimes, when people kiss, you can just sense the awkward. It doesn’t look right. There was none of that here. Maybe that is why I just kissed him; I was sick of the arguing and the fights. Our relationship started out so well and lately it just went downhill. I guess we have a ‘Roller Coaster relationship.’ So from now on, I’m going to avoid arguments and just stay quiet. I made a decision, and I chose the cowards road.

“What’s up?” Justin said. “How come you’re not joining in?” He winked at me but I could sense the hurt in his eyes. I must have got lost in my thoughts and didn’t kiss him back. I don’t think I have ever ‘rejected’ him.

“Sorry babe, I’m just tired and really cold still.” Justin nodded in agreement as he rubbed his hands up and down my arms to warm me up a little bit.

“Want to go back to the hotel now then?” An innocent question most people would answer instantly. But for me, it was like he was asking me the impossible question. How could I go back there? Pattie and Carin are there! That would be so freakin’ awkward. Who knew avoiding situations could be so hard!

“Urgh, can we go somewhere else?” I whispered. Somehow saying it quietly, made it hurt less. Justin obviously understood and took out his phone to open up a special App and I put my head next to his to act as a ‘shield’ for his phone from the rain. The app told him where near by hotels, cinemas, restaurants etc were and it definitely came in handy.

“We can stay at a hotel tonight, but we will have to go back tomorrow.” Justin said as he kissed me on the tip of my nose. I know I have to face up to Pattie soon, but if I can put it off, I sure will.

After Justin had called a taxi, he took my hand and twirled me around. Then he pulled me close into his body, and started to slow dance.

“Seriously?” I giggled. “It’s sweet an’ all, but isn’t this a bit cheesy?” Justin laughed and said with a sexy smirk on his face,

“The cheesier the better.” We danced in and out of the street lights, on the pavements and finally in the middle of the road.

“Now for the big finale!” Justin shouted as he picked me up in his arms and spun me round and round so many times, we both got a bit dizzy and landed clumsily on the floor. The sound of our laughter filled the empty street.

“Again! Again!” I screamed like a little child. After just about managing to control our laughing fit, Justin shook his head before climbing on top of me. We were both breathing heavily and Justin’s shaking hands moved a piece of hair out of my face. This is all I want in our relationship, if only it could last. No worries, no arguments, nothing bad. He moved his hand down to the hem of my top and started to slide it under my top, leaning in for another kiss when a car pulled up beside us and honked its horn furiously. Taxi’s here…
