After practically running out of the hotel, Justin slammed the door of his car and started the engine before I even had the chance to put my seat belt on. He revved it and sped off, causing the wheels to spin and screech. Pulling out onto the main road, the speed picked up.
“Justin! Slow down, you’re going to kill somebody!” I screamed, my heart leaping out of my chest in adrenaline.
“Sorry babe.” He mumbled and slowly decreased his speed.
“Where are we going?” I managed to say when my heart rate was back to normal.
“Well, that’s up to you!” Justin said, a huge smile spread across his face.
“Huh?”
“I thought, maybe we could get away for a little while.” Justin spoke so enthusiastically, hand gestures and everything. “You know just you and me in a foreign country for a few weeks.”
“What, why?” I was so confused, where had this idea come from!?
“It’ll be nice to get away from the paparazzi, fans and crazy family for a while. Don’t you think?” He seemed so sure of this, like he had been planning it for a while.
“I guess so, but we can’t just up and leave…”
“Yeah we can.”
“How!? We have to make arrangements, pack, get money together, tell people.”
“I’m Justin Bieber; I’m tight with the airports, we can buy new clothes and money isn’t an issue! Wait, no, you’re missing the point! If we tell people, they will try to talk us out of it and I don’t want that. I just want to be alone with you. Is that so hard to do?”
“We spend lots of time alone together Justin.”
“Yeah, which always get interrupted! Think of it this way babe. You. Me. 2 weeks. Exclusive holiday. No paps. No fans. No family. Sounds good right?” He winked at me and turned to face me as we stopped at traffic lights.
“Yeah but…”
“No buts. We’re going – it’ll be an adventure!”
“Fine then, but I get to choose where we are going!”
“That’s okay with me shawty.” He leaned over and kissed me. We can be a normal couple together on holiday, finally. A car beeped behind us giving us a fright and we carried on driving.
“Wait.” I said.
“What is it?” Justin said, not giving me his full attention.
“Can we at least go back to our hotel room so I can get some necessities first? We left in such a rush I left my phone and everything.” I pleaded, giving Justin the puppy dog eyes.
“Okay…but when we go on holiday, all phones and laptops turn off. I don’t want to be able to connect with the rest of the world. Remember, just me and you.” He turned the car around and headed for the hotel. Who knows, maybe it will do us good to have some alone time.
