Our Life Spans Time
Our life spans time--
Reaching with a closed fist--
Out, to dissipating air--If we spread our arms out, wide enough--
Open up our hearts, wide enough--
And let the rain--
Cover us up with a layer of magic--Could we dip our toes in the paint--
Taste the flavors on our tongue--
Would we bridge the gaping hole--
Inside me--Mend my mind.
