Nova stood above an ivory pillar, out of the way of the monsters lurking below. Around every corner of the temple, danger was present, no matter how many disgusting creatures she destroyed with her blade.
Thus, she has grown used to the evil throughout the place. After all, it has been just over three years since she was first sealed inside.
Her last bit of faith in people has been destroyed, by no one other than the only person she trusted after that particular incident: Ghirahim.
The temple began to shake, with particles falling from the ceiling. The rumbling caused the pillar that Nova stood on to sway as she struggled to maintain her balance.
Finally, someone had entered the temple.
And Nova planned to use that someone to finally escape.
She made sure her cloak had covered every portion of her grown and fully-developed body, except her feet and petite mouth. She had gotten absolutely no sun while being sealed in the temple, so her skin was purely pale.
The sound of light footsteps caused Nova to leave her perch on the pillar and hide behind it instead. She could clearly see the form walking into the temple and gazing throughout the corridors, careful not to alert the monsters.
It was a young man, just about the same age as Nova. He was dressed in a green tunic, with chainmail peeking through the seams. He wore khaki pants tucked into boots ideal for travel. But his most memorable feature was his deep green pointed hat. The boy's hair was in tousled sandy blonde tufts, complemented by alluring blue eyes. However, his pointed ears dictated that he was Hylian, just like Nova.
Upon viewing the inside of the temple, he ran to the opposite side where a door was waiting to be opened. She had nothing better to do, so she secretly followed.
In this room, a disgusting monster awaited him. Its skin was a sickening blue color, stretching over its bloated body. Its face was mangled yellowed around the eyes and mouth with foaming liquid seeping from the large nose and mouth. Its teeth were no better, especially when it roared. Nova had slaughtered this beast several times, but it still managed to return.
She watched from the shadows as the boy dressed in green unsheathed his blade, but she couldn't help but be in awe of his sword's beauty. Violet patterns encrusted the hilt, with a golden symbol imprinted, identical to the one tattooed below Nova's right eye. The silver tone of the blade was magnificent, as it was thicker and most likely heavier than her own Divine Blade.
He charged without hesitation and slayed the monster with three elegant slashes from his sword. His form was beautiful, and he had obvious skills.
"Link." A voice said, startling Nova. She looked around to see who had said that, but no one seemed to be inside the temple but her and the boy.
At that moment, a small form emerged from the blonde's shadow. It appeared to be a girl, with curvy features, but a slight bulge in her petite stomach. Her head appeared rather large for her body, but it was dressed with a large mask, covering half of her face. Black and white splotches stretched across her tiny body with glowing turquoise markings imprinted. She had striking orange hair that grew slightly lighter at the tips. When she looked around, her single eye appeared to be vibrant red and yellow, while tiny, jagged teeth lined her jaw. In Nova's eyes, she was purely adorable.
The boy she addressed as 'Link' didn't respond, but the expression in his blue eyes showed he was listening.
"I get this strange feeling that someone's watching us." She appeared to just float in the air. The imp's entire presence was confusing, yet majestic.
