Caspian and Lucy followed Aslan to the bridge, just in time to see Peter helping Maffie up from the ground. Maffie kissed Peter's cheek gently, causing Peter to blush and kiss her also.
"She just-" Caspian began, Lucy grinned and elbowed Caspian.
"Hush. They are rather cute together and you're younger than her." She hissed. Caspian looked down in defeat. She was correct.
"But if it were Susan, Edmund would be a protective little brother. Why am I not allowed to be?" He questioned. Lucy thought for a moment.
"Good point." She laughed a little bit.
Caspian smiled and looked down, slightly proud of his come-around.
The Telemarines quickly surrendered after Aslan called up one of the river nymphs.
Maffie came across the river, she was soaking wet.
"Do you want a hug?" She asked, holding out her arms.
"Not exactly..." He said. She smirked.
"Alright, Peter, do you want a-"
"NO! I'll take a hug!" Caspian exclaimed. Maffie grinned and hugged Caspian tightly.
Peter chuckled and joined in on the hug, followed by Lucy, then Susan, and lastly Edmund.
Lucy looked up at them all.
"I think we are just going to keep you two forever!" She exclaimed. Maffie wiped at tears of joy that fell silently Peter rubbed her back gently and Caspian tightened the hold on her.
Finally they let go of each other.
"Kings and Queens of Old, may I have a word with you?" Aslan glanced at the Pevensies. "And my King and Queen of New, Caspian, I want you to collect weapons with the Narnians, Maffie, I would like you to deal with the wounded."
Maffie and Caspian bowed and did as told.
