'I'm fine' she says to me, after I ask if she is okay.
Her eyes red and puffy, but a smile plastered over her face.
A smile I know all too well.
A smile I have used many a time.
A smile that is fake.
A grin for ear to ear, a normal person would think she is fine.
But I am not normal
I have used that smile.
I know that smile
The smile that covers up your face like a paper bag.
The smile that covers up the hell inside you.
The smile that didn't let the darkness out.
The smile that eats away at your soul.
And the only way to get that smile to go away without killing yourself is to cry.
So please climb into your closet, and just cry.
Cry until you run out of tears.
Cause hell is hard to get through.
With he flames eating you up whole.
Stealing your hope.
Stealing your love
Stealing your happiness.
Stealing your life.
So stop smiling and just cry.
