So I'm writing a poem for this little internet magazine on poetry amino (I hope it's gets chosen) and the theme was love and it needed to be positive.
So I ended up writing about my friends, and I normally don't like sharing poems about people to those curtain people, but I feel like this is a happy one. And I want people to see it, however not everyone has wattpad so I tagged everyone that does.
I hope this isn't too creepy but:
Sally_FTqueen star76533 threegirlsalone Captain_Sparrow_46 (and a couple other people) this is for you.I'm in love.
In love with many people.
And I want to paint pictures of their beauty.
I've been practicing how to shade to get their eyes just right.
My sketch book is filled with attempted drawings.
Failures however.
But it's hard not to fail when they look like that.
And I don't have the right shade of brown for their hair.
But I still try.
Even thought they fail.
And I practice body proportions for them.
I get that wrinkle in there skirt just right, the imperfections on there skin that make them beautiful the flyways in their hair.
I take away all the filters, all the fake flowers crowns and puppy dog ears.
And I just draw them.
I draw there natural beauty that they don't often see.
I draw what they don't like about themselves, because I think it's beautiful.
Because I like it, and they should as well.
I do it all for them.
I draw what I love about them, but these drawing are going to stay in my sketch book.
They will stay on the thick, ink filled pages.
They stay in my closed sketch book.
They will stay locked down there, never to be found, tucked away in the crevasses of my room, almost like a secret diary.
But I still do it for them because I love them.
You may be thinking, it this about my crush, but actually it's just about my friends that I love dearly.
And they probably don't love me back, but that is okay.
That is okay because what is important is I love them.
