When i arrived at work this morning it was about 9:30 and then I realize that i was 20 minutes late but that didn't phase me because I owned the company. My dad died when I was 21 and left the company in my hands and now I am 24 and the owner of O'Connor Cooperation. I went inside and head straight for the elevator and pressed number 10 and waited for what seemed like hours. When I heard a ping sound I knew that I had just arrived at my destination and as I stepped out of the elevator I was greeted by one of my secretaries' Wendy. "Morning Rhon, how was that dinner last night?" She asked with a huge smile. I've only known Wendy for a year and to me it feels like forever. I'm actually glad were this close. "Let's just say that we're never getting back together" I said with a sigh. "Its okay boo... You'll be better in no time" she said reassuring me. I just nodded. I was about to walk away when she spoke up. "Oh and you have a meeting in conference room B4" she said fixing her tiny pink glasses on her nose and looking through her papers for today. "What are you talking about. I don't have any meetings until 3 and that's hours away" I said looking down at the golden watch on my right hand and trying to remember if I forgot I had a meeting. "Sorry...haha...silly me.. What I meant to say was someone scheduled a meeting just this morning before you got here and he said that it was urgent." She assured me. "Well okay I'll get to that then..um..thanks by the way and....no never mind" I replied heading towards conference room B4 instead of my office.
......
When I walked into the room I saw what looks to be a god standing at the window in all his glory enjoying the view. "Jesus" I whispered or at least I thought I whispered it until he spoke and said, "like what you're seeing I see...and my name isn't Jesus its actually Mateo" he turned around saying in a sexy Italian accent that sent shivers through my body. He held out his hands for me to shake I couldn't move. Why does my body always let me down the wrong times... Ugh..
