Rogue stepped over the border, and darkness fell over her. She liked the feeling, her emerald eyes started to glow.
She walked on further, leaving the border between StarHerd and The ShadowForest. She found two wounded stallions who were worn out. Their eyes had a white glow, no color, no pupil.
"What do you want?" THey asked rudely.
"Take me to the king of the forest." Rouge ordered sternly, they listened and lead her to a throne shaped thing sitting on a high mound of rocks.
"Bow, girl!" One of the stallions tripped Rogue's front hoof and she bowed.
"Leave her." A thick vice ordered and the stallions scampered away.
"I'm terribly sorry about disrupting you." Rogue apologized.
"Don't apologize to me my dear, you are the next generation of evil." The horse turned around, Rogue smiled.
His fur was a thick and glossy black. His eyes were a deep amber. "Umm, thank you." Rogue thanked, dipping her head slightly.
"Name?" The horse asked.
"Rogue. Your's?" Rogue asked, trying to be tough.
"Shadow, the most merciless horse you'll ever meet." He explained, bending his head for Rogue to sit next to him.
Rogue galloped up the rocks and sat next to Shadow. "Look around. This is what powerful looks like." Rogue gazed around, she saw thousands of dull grey horses with white glowing eyes bowing before their king.
"That's amazing. Will I be here when I die?" Rouge asked, excitement filled her voice.
"Yes, you will be sitting next to me." Shadow smiled.
Does he like me? Ewww no. Rogue dipped her head, " I have to go and find my father."
Shadow nodded his head, "Go rule the forest for me." He winked and Rogue awoke.
Apollo was sleeping soundly and she looked over him. Leave him, he can't take the madness. It'll only kill you on the inside. Rouge felt a tear form. She turned around to leave but he awoke too.
"Where you going?" Apollo asked as he jumped to his feet.
"Come on, waste no time, we are almost there." Rogue rolled her eyes as he started to walk slowly.
"Haha, I'm only joking." Apollo teased and they started to canter.
Remember what you're fighting for. Rogue thought to herself.
