When StreamHerd made it to their camp grounds, most horses went straight to bed. Jaguar searched around for Rouge, he wasn't sure what happened back at the assembly.

"Rouge?" Jaguar asked, trotting up to her. "What?" Rogue snapped back.  "What happened? You seem different, more like Prince." Jaguar sneered and left her. Rogue felt like she could cry. Her heart was broken into two.

That's when Taka came up to Rogue, Rogue just looked at the ground. "Sweetheart?" Taka asked, her voice filled with sorrow. "I'm sorry mother. I killed someone, and it felt horrible." Rogue lied.

Inside her head she thought it was amazing, feeling the blood run and stain her hooves.

"I know, darling. It was a mistake." Taka reassured, rubbing her head against Rogue. "Now that leader hates me. He wants to kill me." Rogue felt a rush of satisfaction run through her body.  "Unless I kill him first." Rogue whispered.

"Come on it's late." Taka sighed and they both climbed into Picasso's den. Picasso and Taka fell asleep but Rogue couldn't. She walked outside the den into the bitter cold night.

Rogue sat on Picasso's pride rock, looking at the full moon. Jaguar must of heard Rogue, because he came out of the yearling's den. "What are you doing up?" Jaguar asked. "I like the night." Rogue nickered, still looking at the moon. "Creepy." Jag stated, turning around.

Before he left completely he asked a question that made Rogue shiver. "Is Prince really your father?" Jag asked looking at Rogue. Rogue stared back at him, her green eyes glowing.

They stared for a long time, and Rogue answered with a nod of her head. "He is." Rogue said feeling confident. Jaguar chuckled, "ha! You fool." Jaguar gave Rogue this look of,  I'm better than you.

Rogue stood up, the wind started to tug on her mane making her look even more powerful. "It's nothing to be ashamed of." Rogue answered back her voice was stern.  "Trust me, it is." Jaguar taunted back.

Rogue became angry. "At least I will be leader of StreamHerd one day!" Rogue whinnied. "Not if I kill you first." Jaguar whispered under his breath but Rogue still heard.

"You haven't seen the worst of me." Rogue threatened and Jaguar went back into the stallions den.

Rogue sat out there until the morning sun lifted.
