When the war started in the north her father had a big army one of the biggest in the north, naturally he tried to marry her off to Robb Stark so she'd be queen of the north. She met him once, but the look in his eyes said he was in love with someone else. She didn't want to be with someone who didn't love her, but her father made her stay. She stayed with her fathers men in the war till Robb married the girl he loved and pulled his men. Her father was ruthless, of the norther houses he loyal to his own. In her fathers eyes Robb Stark made a deal her father kept his side to give him enough soldiers to win the war and all he has to do was make his daughter a queen. Her father told his men to come home and bring her with them. She still became a queen, she didn't want to go back home, so she convinced some of the soldiers to help her get away farther north. That's where her powers thrived and no one dared go near her castle, they said she was a goddess that fell down to earth.
The lord of light has his prince that was promised saving the world with fire, but she is the princess of ice in its purest from and all she's ever known to do is destroy, so that's what she does.

The cold never bothered her she'd run outside in the middle of snow with no fur, and a septa running after her. Maybe it was because the ice was in her bones. She remember times she was younger before the war of the five kings. Stupid men with their wars fighting for something that they die getting. She did things in the war that only soldiers should do, she killed people, but that was a story for another time and place. She was made for war, she was born for war, she knew that; but that didn't mean she liked it.
There was war coming soon to the north and people would be asking for her to take a side. Ramsay was now warden of the north she didn't like him though, she felt the war coming in her bones and anyone against him she would stand with. Henrik Nayland was one of her fathers bannerman one of the most ruthless of them, he was the one to tell her it was time too go once Robb married his love and he was the first to stand by her when she said she didn't want to go home. Then men listened too him either because he scared them or because the wanted to be like him. She watched her men fight one another, it was one of the only things to do. They were close to castle black, they were all northerners so the cold wasn't thought about too much.
"My lady," Henrik said "you have a message from the lord, warden, prick, whatever he is of the north"
She laughed and took the letter from him and opened it "the lord prick does get on your nerves, doesn't he?" she read the letter, no that was a lie she didn't want to waste her time on letter from a men she wasn't going to help
"what are you going to do my lady?" crossing his arms he questioned her
She looked at him and rose her eyebrow at him "wait for the next letter and help whoever it is kill the lord prick, that you hate so much" and smiled at him "I would never help anyone you hate this much"
He nodded and smiled back at her "thank the gods, I'll have a drink for whoever kills him" and watched the men fight yelling at the ones who gave up to fast, but before he walked away
She told him "tell me when the next letter gets here, I believe the men would rather be fighting and killing, the Bolton men, the fighting among themselves, would you say"

She waited for the next letter, but what she didn't think would happen, it wasn't a letter it was a person. A knock on her door woke her up and she got dressed rather quickly and walked out to Henrik with a all too serious face on. He led her to the room her guest were in, some of her men were already there glaring at them, but it stopped when she walked in the room. It was her judgement that mattered here. She looked at them without a word for a moment then one of them spoke
"I'm Jon Snow" he walked over to her and her men put their hand on their swords ready, and he extended his hand to her "we're here to ask for your help to take back winterfell"
She took his hand, but said nothing she just looked at him and then let go of his hand. She looked at Henrik and asked "do you think we should help him?"
He looked Jon Snow up and down arms crossed and shrugged "my lady, you are the ones who give us orders, no matter what I say, the choice must be yours and no one else"
She nodded and asked one question if he answered correctly she would help if not, well she wouldn't help him "why should I help you, give me one good reason?"
She watched him think about it the room grew to be a deadly silence until he give her a answer "because you want to help me, he'll ruin the north, because his the monster"
She smiled at him and turned around and walked to the door "Henrik, you should poor him a drink, his the one who's going to kill the lord,warden, prick of the north you hate so much"
He laughed and replied "thank the gods for Jon Snow"
As she walked out of the room she felt someone following her and she turned around too find Jon Snow looking back at her "can I help you with something else?"
"Everyone wants something, what do you want?" He asked her and she knew he was right for the army she had she should ask for something in return
She just looked at him and told him "my father would say 'marry my daughter make her the queen in the north' that's what he wanted from your half brother for our army, I don't know what I want yet, but I'll tell you when I find out; but for now I'm tried of being used and being given to people"
He looked down and replied "I'm sorry.." it looked like he was going to say something else, but didn't and just watched her walk away.
