Regina's Point f View

I woke up the next morning and Emma was gone so I went downstairs to see my mother sitting in the kitchen with Emma and Emma's mom.

"Mother?"

"Regina honey you're awake."

"Yeah, what are you doing here?"

"Well i'm here to get you."

"Why?"

"Sweetie we need to talk so go get your things."

"No tell me now mother."

"Regina I got a promotion."

"Okay why does this concern me?"

"Well its in New York."

"Like New York New York?"

"Yes, where else darling?"

"Well are you going to take it?"

"Of course that is a silly question to ask."

"But what about daddy?"

"Regina your dad died remember."

I had almost completely forgotten that I no longer have a father.

"Why do I have to go?"

"I can't just leave you to fend for yourself."

"Why you did on your business trips!"

"Don't raise your voice with me young lady!"

"This isn't fucking fair!" I then stormed up to Emma's room and after a couple seconds Emma came in and hugged me. As I broke down in here arms.

"Emma I can't loose you."

"Regina you can't stay either."

"But what about us Emma?"

"Regina I love you so much there will always be an us."

"You leave in three weeks so these last weeks will be the best weeks we have together."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

Emma let me go and I smiled at her, I then put on some jeans and one of Emma's sweatshirts and went downstairs.

"Regina lets go you have to pack up your clothes."

I followed my mother out of the house and got into the car with her.

"Don't you think this will be a nice change?"

"I don't what things to change."

"Regina darling this will be so much better for you."

"No it won't."

"Not with that attitude."

"Mom I don't want to leave."

"Well you don't always get what you want. Besides that little friend of yours is a lesbian."

"Emma?"

"Yes did you not see the way she was looking at you?"

"So what if she is a lesbian."

"No child of mine will ever be gay, do you know what that would do to my reputation! Plus Regina you already know the plan."

"Yes mother."

The rest of the way home was silent. When we got to the house the movers were already packing things away. I went into my room and sat on my bed. I took the picture frame from my bed, that had a picture of me and my dad. "Daddy I miss you." I whispered to myself as I hug the picture frame. I then texted Emma.

R- Hey👋

E- Heyy

R- Whats going to happen to us?

E- I don't know...😔

R- Emma?

E- yes?

R-I am going to miss you😩

E- I am going to miss you too😩

R- New York is far away from Maine

E-Not that far

R-it is to me😩😩😩

She read the text and I didn't get a reply. I then went downstairs and I saw my mother making out with her boss. I waited for them to finish, then I cleared my throat.

"Yes daughter what do you need?"

"Why is he here?"

"He was just stopping by."

"You were cheating on dad weren't you!"

"Regina Mills!"

"I hate you!" I ran out of the house and drove to Emma's. When I got there I went in through the back door and went to the kitchen to see Emma standing looking down at a plate that had a sandwich and some carrots on it.

"Eat it."

She turned around and smiled at me and I smiled back. She then turned around to face the plate and I walked over and stood next to her.

"You can do it."

She smiled at me then looked down at her plate and picked up the sandwich and took a bite. I smiled as she ate the sandwich and then some carrots.

"So what are you doing here?"

"Emma if I am leaving in a couple of weeks i'm going to spend them with you."

"Aww Gina."

Emma and Regina shared a hug and then they pulled apart. They decided to spend the rest of the day watching movies and youtube videos.
