A long update for my favorite people (that's you guys).

Addison's POV

A week after the party, three months of school, and four months of living here.

Life was getting hectic.

My phone and it's annoying ringtone made me stop my studies of the human body for what feels like the fifth hundredth time in my life.

"Hello." I groaned into the phone, not even caring who was on the other line.

"Honey, you don't have to act like you're upset to see your mother calling."

"Sorry, you called while I was studying the different functions of a liver." I rubbed my temples in annoyance as I threw my body onto my bed.

"Well I wouldn't be calling if I wasn't in the beautiful country of England."

No. No. No.

"You're kidding."

"Addie, would I be kidding if I also said I already checked into my hotel and I'm actually about to get out of the cab to find your dorm?" She laughed.

I wasn't laughing.

"What's your dorm number again? 189?" She asked and I closed my eyes and counted to three.

"188."

"Perfect! I'll see you in two minutes, hon."

Kill me please.

I hung up and ran to the living space of the dorm room.

"My mom's here." I warned Amelia as she stood from finishing her morning protein shake.

"You're kidding."

"I wish I wasn't. My mo-" I stopped at the sound of a knock at the door.

Can I just jump out the window and run away?

I ran to the door and was enveloped into a hug.

"Hello, mother." I hugged her back, slightly less excitedly.

"Oh sweetie I missed you." She kissed my cheek and peered over my shoulder, "You must be Amelia!"

She walked over to Amelia with open arms.

Someone please hit my mom with a stop sign.

"Hello Mrs.Coo-"

"Ms. Arielle." My mom was quick to correct Amelia.

"Well it was nice meeting you, Ms. Arielle." Amelia politely hugged my mother back, "But I was just leaving to see my boyfriend. But I'm sure I'll see you another day, how long are you staying?"

"Only three days."

Good lord, that's far too long for me.

"Work calls for me to be back as soon as possible." My mom added and Amelia nodded like she understood, leaving the dorm with her key in her hand.

My mom waved goodbye as she got comfy on the couch.

"Mother dearest.." I joked like I used to, "I love you to bits, but why are you here?"

"What? A mom can't visit her daughter who's living across the world now?"

I gave her my best, 'I'm not buying it' look, and she sighed.

"I'm just checking to make sure your mind is on the right track."

"I'm just a Skype call away and I could just pan my laptop over my endless textbook pages." I sat down next to her.
