Guess the Cold Does Bother You

Elsa had come down with a cold (Ironic, right). Anna and Edan were now basically in charge of the kingdom for Elsa.

Anna did not like that at all.

She was nervous that she would mess up, and as queen of Arendelle messing up, was not a option.

Anna barely even had time to see how Elsa was doing with all the work she had.

Edan had to help Anna out, making sure she was doing everything right meaning he got no time to see Elsa, or take care of her.

It was stupid, he was her boyfriend. It was his job to make sure she was alright.

Edan and Elsa got a chance to see Elsa in-between meetings. Elsa was usually poised and beautiful, but when she was sick she was a absolute mess. Hair not done in its normal fashion, red nose, dark bags under her eyes, and her powers were a little... out of control. There was a thin layer of frost on the floor.

Edan sat down next to her. "How you feeling?" Anna asked, while setting herself down on a chair across from Elsa's bed.

"I've been better." Elsa said with a weak voice. "How's running the kingdom going?"

Anna moaned and slammed her head into a pillow. Edan laughed, until Elsa elbowed him in the rib.

"How do you stand it." Anna asked.

Elsa sighed. "It's... hard." she said. "But you get used to it."

Anna moaned again.

There was a knock on the door. Edan stood up and walked to the door. He opened it and saw Gerda with a bowl of soup. "Sorry to intruded captain." She said. "But the council requests you and the princesses' presence."

"Anna." Edan called over to her. "We gotta go." Anna moaned again and stood up from her chair.

"Bye Elsa, Feel better." Anna said walking out the door.

9:00 pm

Anna walked into her room and flopped onto her bed.

Edan wanted to do the same but thought best to go see Elsa first.

He knocked on the door.

"Come in." He heard a hoarse voice.

Edan walked in to see Elsa lying on her bed with a pillow over her face.

"I hate, being, sick." She said through the pillow, muffling her voice slightly.

"So the cold does bother you then." Edan joked.

Elsa threw the pillow at him, but Edan easily moved out of the way and laughed.

He walked up and sat down next to Elsa.

"Feeling any better?" He asked.

"A little." She said. "But my powers have been a bit harder to control."

"How so?" Edan asked.

"I froze the soup that Gerda gave me earlier."

Edan gave a little chuckle.

"I once heated soup so hot that it burned my mouth."

"Remind me never to let you make me soup." Elsa said with a smile.

Edan gave a small laugh.

"Where's Anna?" She asked.

"Sleeping, she had a long day. Turns out the Southern Isles is trying to make their way around the treaty."

Elsa's eyes widened. "What." She tried to shout but her voice was to hoarse.

"Don't worry, there is no way that the Southern Isles will come anywhere near Arendelle. Not on my watch anyway."
