Edan woke to the sound of singing. He sat up in his bed listening, it was Anna. And she wasn't singing her "do you want to build a snowman" song. This was a song Edan had never heard of.
"Jingle bells, Jingle bells, Jingle all the way. Oh what fun, it is to ride, in a one horse open sleigh. Hey."
Edan quickly put on his robe and walked over to the door, he opened it only to see Anna carrying a box.
"Oh Edan your just in time to help us decorate the Christmas tree." Anna said with a wide smile.
Christmas? What in the world was Christmas.
Before Edan could ask Anna had grabbed his hand and was pulling him down the halls.
She brought him to the family room. At the center of the room was a spruce tree.
"Anna." Edan said with a confused look on his face. "Why is there a tree in the middle of the room?"
"It's the Christmas tree silly." Anna said hitting him in the arm playfully. Then she saw his look of confusion. "You know presents under the tree, leaving cookies and milk for Santa, and Christmas carols."
Edan looked more confused. "Christmas carols?"
Anna gasped in absolute shock. "How do you not know what Christmas is?" She shouted.
Just then Elsa walked in, in a beautiful red dress. "Anna what's wrong now."
Anna stomped over to Elsa and pointed at Edan. "He doesn't know what Christmas is."
Elsa gasped.
Now Edan felt terrible.
"Ok seriously tell me what Christmas is." Edan almost shouted.
Elsa and Anna both looked at Edan.
"You mean... you really don't know." Elsa said tilting her head slightly.
"Can you not just tell me?" Edan asked.
Elsa sighed. "Anna why don't you go see Kristoff."
Anna got the hint and left the room immediately.
Elsa walked over and sat on the couch. Edan sat on the couch across from her. "So?" Edan started.
"Christmas is a holiday that's celebrated on the 24/25 of December. It's about spending time with family, and for giving."
"Oh ok. We never had that back home." Edan said leaning back on the couch.
"So today we're going to decorate the castle and tree." Elsa said with a smile.
Edan then realised something. "Wait holiday for giving. So does that mean I have to get you something."
"Yeah, and Anna and Kristoff something to." Elsa said. "Oh and Rose." She added.
Edan's mouths dropped. "But the 24th is a bit more than a week away."
Elsa laughed, "Then you better get shopping."
Edan's mouth dropped further.
He instantly ran out of the room, and down the halls. He had no idea what to get for any of them.
After getting changed he walked out into the village, looking at stalls around the villages.
He looked around until he found exactly what he was looking for. He walked up to a man who worked at a chocolate stall.
"Hi." Edan said to the man. He looked back at Edan and smiled.
"Captain, what brings you here." He asked smiling at him.
