Bailie's POV
**There was a time skip**
2 weeks ago I got off my crutches. I'm going to train bars today and I'm going to try my dismount. Ragan mostly did vault and beam, her worst events. I walked over to bars. It felt so good being able to use two legs again! Coach Zane grabs the spring board for me. I chalk up and get ready to start my routine. I jump and grip the high bar. Not long after I started, the time came for a dismount. I let go of the bar on the last giant and did a layout flyaway. I I couldn't do my actual competition dismount. I also did my geinger with out a spot! I went to beam after doing bars several times. I worked on my triple series. It was a back handspring back layout step out back pike. I fell on the step out. I worked on that for a while, but without the back pike. After I got the back handspring back layout step out, I tried the back pike. I couldn't connect them. I got really frustrated, and coach Zane could tell. "Bailie, I believe in you but you have to believe in yourself. I know you can do this." He said. I nodded my head and just did the back pike. I finally landed it! Then I tried tons of times to do my triple series. I finally got it! By then my knee started hurting even though I was wearing a brace. "Hey coach my knee is hurting can we stop practicing now?" I asked. "Yeah of course. Great job today though!" He told me. "Thanks!" I replied back. Since I finished practice when all the girls did, I didn't have to wait for Ragan.
Ragan's POV
Later that night we had a team dinner. We discussed how the alternates needed to be ready to compete just in case. She said that because I sprained my ankle at trials and it still wasn't 100% yet. Also, Sydney had an ankle injury that was healed, but she still needed to tape it so it doesn't get re-injured. We got done eating around 10:00. Coach told us that we needed to get back to the hotel to get some sleep. She said we needed to rest and ice our sore muscles and injuries. When Bailie and me got back to our room, we changed out of our nice clothes. I changed into an old t-shirt and some black Nike shorts. I threw my hair up into a ponytail and went to bed. Bailie did the same thing. "Hey Ray are nervous for next week?" Bailie asked me. "Yeah and I feel like I'm gonna mess up." I said. "No you won't! You'll be fine!" She said. "Just think of it as any other meet." She told me. "Yeah you're right! The only difference is that we aren't in America!" I said. "Yeah!" She responded. "I'm really excited for event finals though! Especially floor." I exclaimed. "You've been working really hard on floor, and vault too!" Bailie started saying, "You even upgraded your vault from a double twist to an amanar!" She finished saying. "We've been talking forever! Let's get some sleep!" Bailie said. "Oh my god you're just like grandma Aly!" I said. "I wish Aly didn't retire." Bailie said sighing. "Yeah but at least she didn't take my spot on the team for beam." I said. "I'm going to sleep. Goodnight!" I said yawning. "Goodnight!" Bailie said.
