Bailie's POV
Today is the P&G Championships. I changed my bars dismount to full twisting double layouts. Now I'm on my last event, vault. I've had a good two days so far. "Now of vault from Texas Dreams, Bailie Key!" I heard the announcer say. I saluted and started running. I flipped onto the table and twisted in the air. My feet hit the mat as solid as a rock. I stuck my vault! It was only a yurchenko full so it's not worth much but it's definitely the start of something good. I got a perfect score. I watched Ragan compete floor and we waited for awards. The first awards they started with were floor awards. "In second place winning the silver medal with a combined score of 30.1 from Texas Dreams, Bailie Key!" The announcer said. I got second on floor! Ragan got first place! Next was bars awards. I got first on bars! On beam I got 5th place. In the all-around, I got third place! My teammate Emma got second and Ragan got first! It was a good day for Texas Dreams! After awards and Ragan and I making the National Team, I went to do an interview.
Interviewer: So what was it like competing again? What was going through your mind?
Bailie: It felt great to compete again. I was pretty nervous because I was competing all-around again and I haven't vaulted in so long but I think it went pretty well.
Interviewer: How did it feel to do floor again?
Bailie: I loved it! I got a new floor routine and the music is from the movie Puss in Boots and it brings out more of my sassy side and it's kind of dramatic too. I really love it!

Interviewer: How did you feel about your win on bars?
Bailie: It felt amazing! I have new skills and connections like I'm doing a downie right into a geinger. I'm also doing a pike jaeger into a pak. I've also been working inside skills on bars and my dismount. I want to do double twisting double layouts again by next season and I've been working hard on that. At Classics I did double layouts and I worked really hard to do full twisting double layouts here at Championships.
Interviewer: How did you feel about sticking vault?
Bailie: I was really surprised that it happened actually! I did a yurchenko full and I thought I was going to get too much power and I would hop way back but I didn't and I'm really proud of myself.
Interviewer: How do you feel about the next camp coming up?
Bailie: I really hope it goes well because I think next year will be my last year in Elite. I'll be 26 next March and I've had tons of injuries, I've finished college gymnastics, I've made it to the olympics, and I'm a World Champion. I reached all my long term goals in gymnastics so next year I want to compete for fun without the pressure of international meets and worlds and things like that.
Interviewer: Well good luck next year!
Bailie: Thank you!
