I buried my neck into Tobias' shoulder and we just stayed there, enjoying each other's warm embrace until I hear the door open and pull away. Christina, Caleb, and Cara all walk in and come over to me. I give each of them a huge hug and we all talk about the events of the past week. I'm shocked to hear about Peter and how he took the memory serum and judging by the looks on everyone else's' face, they didn't know about this new development either. Christina tells me about unhooking Uriah from the machines, and how that was happening in a few hours. We all get up to go and pay our final respects to Uriah and go to support Hana and Zeke.

When we arrive, both of them are clasping one of Uriah's hands with tears streaming down their faces. Even the bravest of people have to let down their defenses some time. When they unhooked him, Hana released his hand, letting him go, willing herself to move on. Zeke got up, silent, and muttered his final words to Uriah: "I love you."
