Cupcakes And Cute Things [A Zane~Chan Story]

The Trip

-No One- *5 months later*
Aphmau and Aaron were making sure everyone had remembered everything before they were to board the boat to Love~Love Paradise.
"Hmm," Zane mumbled under his scarf, Kawaii~Chan scooted next to him and squeaked.
"What is Zane~Kun looking for?"
"Well KC, I think I forget my costume for the contest."
"No you didn't, I packed it for you in the little compartment on the front of your suitcase!" He looked at her flustered as he checked the compartment she was referring to. Sure enough, there was his costume; he smiled.
"Wow, thanks KC."
"No problem Zane~!" She hugged him and his cheeks became rosy.
"Alrightly. Let's go through security and board!" Aphmau said before skipping off.

-Zane-
Security went okay, they made me take off my scarf so they could make sure I didn't have anything hidden. I know I look shady but come on. Once I passed through I went to stand by Aph, who looked frustrated while looking at the tickets.
"What's up Aph?" I asked, somewhat curious.
"Security informed me that two of the tickets are different." She murmured.
"How?"
"Two of them are for another separate house on the island."
"Really? So are you and Aaron gonna take it?"
"I'm not sure, I mean, we want to spend time with everyone so I dunno."
"Well, I could take it with someone, I'll be working the whole time so the other person can do whatever they want." I suggested, "I might as well go with KC because I'm just going to get work done anyway." all I can say is that I've never seen Aph's face light up that bright before.
"Zane, you're a genius." She paused, "Katelyn!!!" She went over to Katelyn and started talking to her, Katelyn screaming and laughing let me know it was a girl thing. I shrugged and pulled out my phone; messages from KC were there, they were selfies from her birthday a few weeks ago. We had all planned a party at her and Katelyn's place, I was surprised she didn't find out about it. I gave her a few good selfies because it was her birthday. Aph, KC, Vylad, and I, were all the same age now, 22.
"OoOooOo are you looking at our selfies Zane~?" KC asked, startling me out of my thoughts.
"W-what? No." I said darkly, she shrugged and ran over to Aphmau.
I sighed and shut off my phone.

~Le Skip~
The sun was setting, the water slowly waved to the sky, and I leaned against the rail. The wind blew through my hair, cooling my face. I heard footsteps but didn't turn around, probably Aphmau or Aaron. The person leaned on the railing beside me, Kawaii~Chan looked at me and smiled.
"Hello Zane~." She said quietly.
"Hey, what's up?"
"Nothing." She sighed.
"What's the matter?" I said darkly, "Cat got your tongue?" I chuckled, she giggled.
"No, it's just, my Aarmau ship has sailed. It's a good thing, but Kawaii~Chan feels lonely without Aphmau~Senpai around." I sighed, not because I was annoyed, but because I understood where she was coming from.
"Kawaii~Chan, I-" she started to cry, light tear drops from her face dripped out to sea. I nervously pulled her into a hug. "KC, you'll never be lonely, as long as I'm around. I get where you're coming from and I want you to know that, we're friends." I didn't think that part through but I just went with it. She pulled away far enough to look at me.
"Thank you Zane~Senpai." I blushed, 'What did Senpai even mean?' I thought as she started to blush. I was holding onto her waist which was really awkward so I let go.

-Aphmau-
Katelyn and I were walking on the upper deck when we saw Zane watching the sunset. Kawaii~Chan joined him and I started recording on my phone, their interactions started as Aaron, Travis, and Dante joined us. We heard their conversation clearly, then Kawaii~Chan started to cry. What shocked me next was that Zane pulled her into a hug. They pulled apart and looked at each other, giving us the opportunity to cheer them on. We all started to clap and cheer. They looked at us, both full blush. The five of us laughed at them, when KC leaned her head on Zane's shoulder in embarrassment.

-Kawaii~Chan-
I leaned my head on Zane's shoulder in embarrassment. He let go of my waist, 'aww'. I wrapped my arms around him and he put his arms back around me too! I giggled softly as my face rested against his warm scarf. He started to laugh quietly as well, leaning his head against my head.
"What do we do now?" Zane whispered into my ear.
"Shhh." I said as I quickly let go and kissed his cheek before running off. Katelyn~Sama and Aphmau~Senpai were screaming as my face went rosy. I ran into my room and shut the door, flopping onto the bed.
'That just happened'

'I'm so dumb!'

'Zane's going to-' My thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. I got up and slowly opened it. Katelyn was there, she was smiling.
"So Kawaii~Chan, who's your boyfriend?"
