"morning, princess. how was your sleep?" vic asked a sleepy kellin as he passed the slightly taller boy a helmet.

"nonexistent." kellin mumbled, stretching like a cat and hopping onto the motorcycle with a yawn.

vic chuckled. "i didn't sleep either, but thanks for asking." vic said sarcastically, starting up the bike and speeding down the road.

kellin mumbled a quick 'sorry' before falling sleep while clutching onto the short mexican.

vic woke up kellin at the school, shaking the raven haired boy from his slumber.

"5 more minutes," kellin moaned out, making vic's eyes widen in excitement.

vic sighed and shook kellin again when he heard the boy begin to snore.

"kells, do you want to skip?" vic asked sincerely. kellin had recently been looking extremely weak. kellin shook his head no.

"when was the last time you actually went to sleep?" vic asked, genuinely curious.

"last week." the taller boy mumbled, his eyes still closed.

vic shook his head. "we're skipping. i don't care. you're going home." the mexican demanded, reaching into his pocket for the motorcycle keys.

"i caaaaaan't," kellin whined. "if my mom found out she would kill me. she may not pay attention to me but she hates getting calls from the school." kellin whined some more, looking like he wanted to cry because all the poor kid wanted to do was sleep.

vic sympathized with kellin, remembering how he felt when he had insomnia.

"i'd rather not deal with her. she's a bit scary sometimes." kellin said sincerely, pulling the jeans back down. he then closed his tired eyes and lay back onto the bike, with one foot balancing on the bike and the other on the ground.

"alright. just, stay by my side and don't talk. i'll handle this. in the mean time, wear these." vic said while handing sunglasses to kellin.

the taller boy put them on and stumbled over to vic. vic wrapped his hand around kellin's waist, holding him up while walking into the school building.

"vic! como estas, mi hermano?" tony asked vic, giving a big grin.

"tony, i'm gonna skip with kellin, i dont know if you guys wanna come. but i need him to be 'present' in all classes. if the school calls his mom, he's dead." vic said, his hand accidentally slipping to kellin's lower back. (but kellin didn't mind.)

"okay. all he has to do is be in his first period class. i'll come into the classroom and say the principal called for him, and i'll hack into the attendance. no biggie. oh and we'll leave with you guys." tony finished up, grabbing his laptop to begin hacking the attendance when the first bell rang.

vic wasn't even in kellin's first period class, but he sat next to the sleepy boy.

the class went by slowly, vic counting each second for every minute that passed by.

"quinn, what's the answer?" mr. wale asked kellin.

kellin fought to stay awake, the sunglasses making it look like he was too cool for school, even though his eyes kept closing.

"uhhhhh," he groaned, though it sounded like he was thinking.

"well? i'm not waiting forever, kellin. answer the damn question. and take off those glasses!" and suddenly the door swung open.
