"do you want to go back to the dance?" vic asked in a whisper after an hour of laying in the dirt under the bleachers.

they looked through the metal seats, staring up at the twinkling stars that they both wished they could touch.

"no," kellin said back, biting his lip as he sighed and closed his eyes.

vic nodded.

"what do you wanna do, babe?" vic asked, kissing kellin's forehead.

"come to my house. stay over." kellin said quietly, his voice small and partially hoarse from crying prior.

vic's eyes went wide. kellin wanted him to go over? he wasn't sure how to respond.

"is your mom gonna be there? i thought you didn't want me to meet her." vic said cautiously, making sure kellin wouldn't retract.

the taller boy frowned. he knew his mom would be home. he knew she would probably be waiting up for him, but he chose to reply differently.

"i don't know. and i don't care." kellin said slowly, as if he was convincing himself it were true.

he cared. a lot. and he didn't want anything to happen to vic.

"okay. let's go." vic said, getting up and stretching his arm out to help kellin up.

as the two boys were walking away from the bleachers, they found each other hand in hand, blushes on both of their faces.

yes, even vic.

kellin unlocked the front door of his house, regretting telling vic he could go over.

the living room and ballroom lights were off, making kellin quietly sigh in relief.

he looked over to the shorter boy, bringing a finger to his mouth to signal him to stay quiet.

vic nodded and held onto kellin's hand, looking around the taller boys' house for the second time.

kellin ran up the stairs swiftly, pulling vic up so fast the short boy barely had time to step onto the stairs.

the taller boy's mom's door was closed, making kellin assume she was home and asleep.

he pulled vic into the room and shut the door quietly, the light off in the quiet room.

"still as pretty as the last time i was in here," vic muttered quietly, looking around the room in happiness.

kellin smiled, turning on the light and pulling off his tie swiftly.

vic admired the poster covered walls, each showing a different side of kellin. all of the posters were old rock, punk, classic movies, and developed pictures of his concerts. it was a side of kellin that the young boy didn't expose anyone to.

"hey, come here." kellin said, taking off his jacket and putting it in his closet.

vic stepped over to kellin, looking up at him with a grin.

the tall boy grinned back, pulling vic's shirt towards him.

"you know, sometimes i forget you're a bottom." vic said with a smirk, gazing into kellin's ocean eyes.
