*Alex’s P.O.V. Same Day*
I woke up with a pounding headache. I noticed a bottle of water, Tylenol, and a little note. I took the medicine and then read the note.
It had said that Samm was sorry and that she left.
NO, no, no! I said to no one in particular. I jumped up and ran to her room. It looked pretty normal, so I checked her closet. Sure enough, half the closet was gone. I sank to the floor. She was really gone. I made her runaway from me. God, I was such a dick. I ran into the kitchen and grabbed my phone. Quickly, scrolling through my contacts, I found her name. ‘My True Love’ was what her contact name was. Quickly sending her a text, I sat on the couch waiting for her reply; Nothing. After an hour, I texted her again; nothing. I called her, but I just got sent to voicemail.
“Samm… Come home. We can work this out. Please… Come home so I can wrap my arms around you. Do you know how long a week is? That’s like a million years to me. Please. Come home. I-I love you.” I said, and then hung up.
I stayed on the couch and cried the whole night.
