~"I know your secret Avila Arthur, and there's nothing you can do about it now."
Avila Arthur is a name that everyone in Sparrow High knows. Her twin brother happens to be the captain of almost every sports team in the school. Her best friend is the only son of the school's Principal. To top it off, her uncle is a well-known millionaire around the country. But don't get me wrong. Avila Arthur is not only famous by the people she surrounds herself with, but she's famous because she's one of a kind. She's not an actress or a singer, and she can't model for the life of her. She's just Avila Arthur. The girl everybody knows.
Tristan Ryder has recently moved to Edmonton to complete his studies at Sparrow High. Why? Because he was expelled from the best and most expensive school in the country. Not only that, but he took his four best friends down with him. Now, the only option they have is to move to a city that has winter 8 months round, a shopping mall with the biggest indoor Waterpark in North America, and complete high school with passing grades.
Getting through two years of Sparrow High with an annoying group of people that he somehow got his friends involved with, isn't as fun as it sounds. But Tristan has a motivation. That is, to bring his four best friends back on track, and maybe get himself on along with them. The only way Tristan can have his friends free of the label of 'delinquents' they were honored with back at home, Tristan sees only one way out:
The Yearly Cup.
Five of the best schools in the province compete every year for the Yearly Cup. The Yearly Cup is a competition that consists of five rounds throughout the year, testing each school on their abilities in Academics, Fine Arts, Sports, and Leadership skills.
Now, all the stars of Sparrow High must prove to everybody that winning isn't just about luck, it's about effort. And they're going to have to prove that, by working together. Sounds easy, right?
It's about as easy as trying to lift weights, and eat a cake at the same time.
