It was a week after Allison died , Ashleigh couldn't erase Allison's expression when the Oni's sword was plunged threw her stomach.
She also hadn't moved from her bed , everyday and every night there she would remain , numb and broken. The confident loud girl the pack once knew , was now a empty shell of herself sitting there silently . Unlike Ashleigh , she hadn't spoken a word except the bellowing scream she let out when Allison passed away . She had also fought Void for hours on end , until Scott had to literally drag her away . No matter how hard she hit Void would always block and no matter how hard he had hit she would always do the same . It was a equal match. Ashleigh being the only hybrid (Werewolf and Banshee) gave her quite a fighting chance against him ... but not even she could kill a 1 thousand year old mentally disturbed Kitsinue .
" Ashleigh , A-Are you ok ?" Scott attempted to talk to her to make her feel anything .
She simply looked up and muttered " Honestly?" Scott nodded
" I couldn't be .. worse - I feel like everything is falling apart and I feel useless . My best ... " Ashleigh choked at the word feeling the tears starting to stroll down her face "My best friend is gone and there is nothing we can do . You , me , Stiles , Lydia . There's nothing we can do to bring her back , nothing . And now she's gone because she was protecting us against someone we know we can't beat ... I think it's slowly driving me crazy " She replied as more tears soaked her face. Scott held her hand and sighed lightly .
" Ash , your not useless . You could never be useless your the only thing that held this pack together . Whether it was that huge smile you would wear , or your giggles everybody could hear. Yes , there may be nothing we can do to bring Allison back . But do you really think she would want you to be sitting here wasting away , or do you think she would want you training to kick Void's aśš to get Stiles back ?." He said with a grin
Ashleigh wiped her tears from her face and stood up
" Let's go get Stiles back! " she exclaimed and then walked out . Scott , still proud of himself , followed her while doing his signature dance .
