Chapter 6: Revealing the Truth

I woke up very late in the next morning; I saw a clock beside me it was already nine past fifteen. From what I know, right now I already late for school, but still that doesn't mean I needn't go to school. I took a bath and changed to my school uniform that someone already prepared for me on my bed. I was wondering where Alicia is, why didn't she wake me up, I sighed, yesterday feels like a long day. Do I need to go to school right now, Do I really want to meet Carvell when I'm screwed up like this, I hated it, I hated these thoughts. I went outside and decided to go to school, it looks very empty, the castle...mansion I mean. But then I jumped when I heard someone behind me; it was one of Alicia's maids, I didn't see her coming.

"Excuse me Miss Felton; don't you need to go to school? We already prepared the car for you." she said. "Why would you?" I ask, "Because it's the mistress ordered us to do." she answers. "Then if you knew I must go to school, than why didn't you wake me up?" I raised my voice a little. "I'm sorry Miss Felton that was also the Mistress ordered us, she told us not to wake you up; she said you need a rest a little bit." Now I know why Alicia said that, it's such a long and tiring day yesterday, and I need to think through whether I want to go to school to meet Carvell or not.

I went to school with one of Alicia's car, and what I can't believe is; there are four cars accompanied me in the journey, there's one in front, right and left side, also at the back. Apparently those are Alicia's bodyguards, and I'm guessing she's the one who ordered all of this, she really did think through everything. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a president's daughter but this feel like I really am, I sighed. When I arrived I expected everything; The front gate already full of people, and I know they wanted to know who's the person that needed four cars guarding whoever people inside the car; definitely it was me, maybe they all guessing that it was the president. One of Alicia's bodyguards opened the door for me, now this is really feels like a princess. I came out from the car and still feel awkward, but then they all surprised to see me; even the crowd became silent in an instant. Suddenly the crowd made a way, is this for me? I thought, I shouldn't be confident myself because back in the crowd I can see S-class students, Alicia, Allen, and the other council members and of course Carvell is among them.

I took a glance at Alicia; she was smiling at me. Carvell walk through the way of crowd, then just a few feet in front of me, he knelt to the ground give out his hand out to me, everyone surprised and that includes me. "Pardon me, it was nice to see you again, everyone here just wanted to see you and to welcome you. So if you don't mind, please take my hand and we should go inside together princess" he said smiling at me, that gives me a little cautious look. I took his hand very carefully, as we walked into the crowd; everyone watched me very closely, I feel very tense around here. Carvell brought me to where Alicia is, he said that she should bring me back to council office. When I went through the high school building everything is been decorated, the classes, the halls even the S class's hall. She brought me to council office and it feels so empty because there's only me and Alicia here. At first I try not to talk but then it feels so awkward so I tried to say something,

"Uhmm...Do you know what's happening here? Everything seems...different..." there's a pause, "Everything and everyone is..." she corrected, "Maybe you should just see and enjoy," she smiled at me as she holds my hand, "You know Malice, feel yourself lucky, right now you are the luckiest person in the world and remember if there's a trouble everyone will be by your side and they won't hesitate to lose their lives just for you Malice..." now a sad smiled reflected on her. "Well, I think I'm not so lucky if someone lose their lives just for me, I would be very sad.....I would prefer to lose my own live to protect someone..." I said and smiled at her. She gave me a surprised look for moment but then it turned to smile. "Now I know why Carvell loves you so much and so does everyone else..." she said, I just looked at her. Without a warning the door cracking open; Charles came in with his cold and stone face, Well he always make that face, I never see him smile, not even once.
