(This chapter is from Lee's POV)
Lee's POV
I glanced over at Serena, who had fallen asleep on the couch half way through the movie. I smiled at her and put a blanket over her. I was happy she was finally warming up to me. She hadn't really talked to me after the whole Barbara incident. I don't know how Serena still likes Barbara, after seeing Barbara go crazy. I mean she watched Barbara almost kill me. I sighed at the thought. I suppose it was because they had a past together.
I heard Jim walk down the hallway and I stood up, careful not to wake Serena.
"Is she asleep?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Jim?" I asked.
"Yea?" He replied.
"I'm worried." I said, looking straight into his eyes.
"About what?" He asked, confused.
"Barbara. I'm worried she going to try to get Serena."
Jim thought for a moment.
"She might try, but I'll make sure she doesn't harm you or Serena." Jim reassured me, pulling me into a hug.
I pressed my lips gently against his as we kissed.
"Ready for bed?" I asked, as we pulled apart.
He yawned.
"Yes, I'm exhausted." He said with a laugh.
I laughed and we headed to bed.

Next morning....
(Serena's POV)
I woke up the next morning to the smell of bacon. I sat up and walked into the kitchen.
Lee and Jim were in the kitchen cooking together.
"Hi?" I said confused.
"Oh hey Serena." Jim said.
I heard my phone buzz and I glanced down, it was a text from Bruce.
"You still coming over today?" He asked.
I grinned.
"Yea, I'll be over soon." I replied.
"Uncle Jim, I'm going to Bruce's house today." I said, and walked off to get ready.
"Okay, be careful walking there." He replied.
"I will!" I said.
I got changed into a simple blue blouse and white jeans. I pulled my hair into a braid and then headed out the door.
