Jack's POV:

I was waiting outside. Aster was in there talking to my mother.

"No no, he is never coming back here again," I heard my mother said out loud.

"Just give him a chance," I heard Aster say. "He was planning to run away. I know he'll change, c'mon." Wow, he's really doing this for me?

Mother kept on rambling about me skipping school and all that stuff I've been doing. I didn't want to listen anymore because I know she'll never let me come back.

After some minutes, Aster came out with a frown on his face. Err I knew she wouldn't say yes.

Aster begin to smile. "Huh! Piece of cake."

My eyes widen, "No way," he nodded his head, grinning. "She said yes?"

"Told ya I'll handle it," he laughed. He then stopped laughing and gave me a serious look. "But you'll only come back if you behave."

I frowned and rolled my eyes. "I'll try."

"Stay out of trouble, okay?" Aster patted my shoulder and walked down the roadway. He walked on the side of the road and sooner or later he was gone.

I sighed. "I hope Brian won't be disappointed." I went into the house, and sneaked into my room.

<<<<IN THE MORNING>>>>

Third Person's POV:

DING DONG!

Lexi stood up from the the dinning table when she heard the door bell rang. She opened the door and was surprised to see Brian.

"Miss Overland," greeted Brian, giving her his best smile.

"Brian," greeted Lexi. "Here to see Jack?"

"You mean he's here?"

Lexi looked at him confusingly. "Yeah, where else would he be?"

"Oh um...I thought....huh forget it, where is he?" Brian scratched the back of his head, wondering what was going on with Jack.

"Upstairs, probably still sleeping," said Lexi. "Come on in."

"Thank you." Brian came in and was welcomed by some box lying on the floor near the stairs.

"What are all these boxes for?"

Lexi turned around. "That question should be answered by Jack." With that, she walked up the stairs and to Jack's room.

Lexi opened the door and walked in the room. She frowned when she noticed him sleeping lazily on the bed and all his stuff were lying all over the floor. When can her son learn how to clean his own room?

Lexi rolled her eyes when Jack let out a snore; she went over and opened the curtains.

Jack groaned and covered his eyes from the sudden light.

"Wake up, it's way past 9:00," said Lexi.

Jack groaned, "I rather sleep till 12."

"Oh so you're willing to make Brian wait?" Lexi folded her arms over her chest.

Jack's eyes shot open. "Brian's here?"

"Yeah, he wanted to talk to you. Oh and also you better start packing."

"Packing?" Asked Brian walking in. Jack jolted up from the bed making Lexi smile.

"See that's what I'm talking about, good job Brian," she patted Brian's shoulder and walked out.

Jack frowned, she is really happy about him leaving.

"Jack, what is she talking about?" Asked Brian sitting on the bed in front of Jack.

Jack sighed. "Brian, I'm leaving to Canada."

It took five minutes for Brian to process what Jack had said.
His eyes widen, "What?! Since when?!"

"Just yesterday, mother's sending me to my sister."

"Are you ever coming back?"

"Well Aster talked to my mother. So I maybe coming back next year."

Brian looked down and just stared at his hand. Jack sighed, knowing that Brian didn't liked the idea of him leaving.

"I think it's best that you don't come back at all," said Brian. Jack stared shocked at him. "There's really nothing left for you here anyway."

"Brian how could you say that?"

Brian shrugged, "I heard you quit the 101. So you wouldn't have any excuse to come back here."

"Brian, I quit because Pitch and Tracy lied to me. Tracy's been cheating on me with Pitch behind my back," Jack didn't even want to say their names.
"And the reason I'm coming back here is because I have a friend who's gonna be waiting for me."

Brian looked down. "Okay but call me everyday."

Jack smiled, "Of course I will."

<<<<<FOUR DAYS LATER>>>>>>>

"Jack! come on, you might miss your plane," called Lexi.

Jack walked down the stairs carrying his bag. "Yeah yeah I'm coming."

He walked out the door, Lexi closed the door behind her.

"You ready, bro?" Asked Brian.

"Yeah," Jack said dryly.

Brian sighed. He gave Jack a sad smile, "Bye buddy."

"Bye." Jack and Brian shared a hug.

Jack got in the car and Lexi started to drive. Jack looked back and saw Brian waving at him.

"Plane for Canada is leaving in twenty minutes."

Lexi and Jack stood up. Jack turned to Lexi. "Well Jack, it's time." Jack gave a small nod.
"Jack, I hope you're not still angry."

"Why wouldn't I be?" Hissed Jack.
He grabbed his bag and walked away.

Lexi sighed, "Jack! wait up!"
She caught up with him and stopped him. "Jack, everything I'm doing it's for your own good. Look I'm sorry I forced you to go. I just wanted you to fix your life."

"Fix my life? It doesn't really matter," frowned Jack. "I'm only doing this because I wanted to be away from all this, because I have nothing left. I don't even belong in a crew anymore, and my life is a mess. Ever since dad died, I've always been left alone. Even in school I had no friends because everyone thought that I was a weirdo. When I met the 101, I was happy. But it turns out they were just like everyone else. The only person that has always been there for me was Brian."

"I'm sorry, why didn't you tell me?" Asked Lexi.

"How would I tell you? You were never home. All you thought about was your business but you hardly thought about your son." Jack strolled down the way to the plane.

*Skip Time*

Jack stared out of the glass window. The plane was in the air. Jack felt a little bad talking to his mother like that. But everything he said was the truth.

He put on his headphone and played the song Love Yourself  by Justin Bieber. He closed his eyes and drifted to sleep.
