Liza's POV

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing. I check the caller ID and it's says David. I suddenly smile without me noticing. I snap out of it and answer the call.

David: Hey Good Morning!

Liza: Morninggg

David: I'll be there in 10 minutes.

Liza: wHAT I JUST WOKE UP!!

David: Okay, 15 minutes.

Liza: THAT'S IT I GOTTA GO!

David: Okay.

Liza: BYEE

So David will be here in 15 minutes. Thanks. I need to go wow.

(10 minutes later)

i get a text from David.

"I'm outside!"

My eyes widen as i run downstairs nearly slipping on the stairs. I hear the bell ring and i notice that my mom is opening the door.

David: Hi Mrs. Koshy! I'm David. Liza's friend.

Mom: Oh, hi! Liza talks so much about you! And by the way, call me Margarette.

David: Okay, Margarette. Is Liza in there?

Margarette: Oh, yeah. She's upstairs. Come inside!

David: Oh, thank you.

I suddenly hear footsteps going to the 2nd floor. i'm from the 3rd so i went down 5 flights of stairs and hid inside my sisters room. Then i hear David scream my name while going upstairs to my room. The door to my room has 'Liza' on the front so it's easy to tell it's mine. He goes in and as he takes his first step to my room i jump out and scare him. He freaks and i laugh so loudly people from downstairs laugh as well.

David: Liza what the heck?!?!

Liza: hahahahahaha that's for waking me up early!

David: Come on, let's go we'll be late!!

Liza: okay fine!

We say our goodbyes to everyone at home. David opens the door to his car for me. I go inside and i wear my seatbelt. David starts his car and played some music. Once again, he puts his hand on my leg but this time,,, i felt warmth and comfort. I felt safe in his presence. Am i in love? I can't be. I can't fall in love with a stranger i just met.

David's POV

I wake up and drive to Liza's house. I give her a call and she picks up. I talk to her for 30 seconds and she hangs up. I arrive in front of her house and i knock on her door. Her mom, Margarette, answers and leads me to Liza's room. I go up to her room and Liza suddenly jumps up and scares me! It's okay though because I trust her and it's fine if she scares me. Anyways, we leave and i open the car door for Liza. She hops in and i smile. I go inside and start the car smiling at the fact she's with me. I then drive off and slowly move my hand towards Liza's lap. She smiles and rests her head on my shoulder. This is the happiest I have been. I want her to be mine. All mine.
