Everything Okay?

Liza's POV

It's been a day since David said what he felt for me. Yes, i am in love. But i just met him. And that can't be. Our school's having an assembly today so we're gonna be released at 12. Anyways, i see David as i was walking to my next class, i give him a smile. He looks back but pretends i'm not there and brushes it off. I ask myself what i've done wrong. Then i thought of yesterday. I suddenly felt the urge to cry in the middle of a busy hallway. I kept it together and just walk pass him. I then go to my next class.

David's POV

I love Liza. I love her so much. But, ever since Liza and I talked yesterday. I feel, rejected. She passed by me. Gave me a smile, and left. All i did was look at her. She left so fast that my smile came late so she didn't see it. It's just been a few days after school so maybe i really shouldn't rush...

-all classes ended for that day-

Liza's POV

I walk around the school looking for David. Maybe he wants to hangout? I suddenly feel someone behind me. It's Gabbie!!

Gabbie: Boo!

Liza: Nope not this time.

Gabbie: Dammit! Anyways, how's your day?

Liza: Not good...

Gabbie: Awh why?

Liza: So yesterday, David and I talked about how we feel. He said he liked me. But, we just met. He said he was from my past school, Vernon High. He knew me before I knew him. But basically, we just talked the other day and i feel like we need more time...

Gabbie: It's okay to fall in love. It's okay to tell him you love him. All that matters is that both of you have the same feelings for each other. Follow your heart.

I suddenly walk out with Gabbie walking behind me. I go to the bathroom and started to cry.

Gabbie: Don't cry. It's okay. He'll understand.

Liza: But he never talked to me today...

Gabbie: He will tomorrow!

Liza: I don't know Gabbie...

Gabbie: Wanna hang out with Carly, Erin and some friends? Classes are over?

Liza: Yes can i?

Gabbie: Of course! Let's go!

I wash my face and grab my makeup bag. I put on my eyebrows and mascara. I pack everything up and go with Gabbie.

Liza: Where are we going?

Gabbie: To the park!

Liza: Where?

Gabbie: Around the corner.

Liza: Okay.

The park is 3 blocks away so we decided to walk. As we arrive we see Carly and Erin with some friends. We walk towards them and Gabbie starts introducing me.

Gabbie: Hey guys, this is Liza. My friend.

Everyone: Heyy!

Liza: Hi everybody!!

Gabbie: Y'all should get to know each other.

Liza: Okay!

Two guys walked up to me.

Zane: Hey I'm Zane. He's Heath.

Heath: Heyyy!

Liza: Hi, it's so nice to meet you!

Then a guy with brownish redish hair walks up to me.

Scott: Hey i'm Scott.

Liza: Hi!!

Scott: This is my girlfriend Kristen.

Scott says as he pulls Kristen from behind.

Liza: Hi! You're very pretty.

Kristen: Thank you. You're very pretty as well.

Gabbie walks to me holding a guy's hand.

Gabbie: Liza, This is Todd.

Todd: Hey!

Liza: Hi!

I say hi to pretty much everyone in the group. A few minutes later we leave the park and we go to the Coffee Shop to grab some Iced Coffee.
The coffee is pretty affordable i must say. It's very delicious as well.

We go to Gabbie's place and we stay there for a couple of hours until I had to go. I was the last one to leave considering my parents weren't home because of a meeting. I leave Gabbie's house at 12 and arrive my house at 12:30. My siblings left for a sleepover with friends so i'm home alone. I open the door to my front house and i drop my school bag. I then run upstairs and lock the door. I remove all my makeup and change to sweatpants and an oversized shirt. I lay on my bed and David popped into my head. I hear my phone pop up a notification and i look thinking it was David. It was a twitter notification from David saying,

I wish everything was back to the way it was before.

I suddenly feel like he was pointing the tweet to me. I wanted to reply but, it'll be useless. I just ignored it and went on my computer to watch some youtube. I go on youtube and i see 3 break up videos on my recommended. 2 high school story times and 3 rejection story times. I feel like the universe is trying to tell me something. Everything reminds me of David. This is the worst that has happened to me. I feel terrible.
