You get home, throw your stuff on the floor of your bedroom to sort through later, and grab a quick snack, before setting off to go talk to your mom. Why? Because she had called your name about eight times when she heard you walk in the door.
"So, how was it?" She asks, curiously.
"It was good. They were all so nice, and-" you bite your tongue. Rick wasn't really that nice, but you go with it anyway. "A-and, they took good care of me."
"Did you sleep well?"
"Yes," you grin, slightly blushing. You quickly put your hand over your face.
"Well, okay then. Also, it's not weird for you to stay at a boy's house is it? I mean, it's not weird for me, but you're at that age where-"
"Mom! It's not like that at all." You reassure.
"Good. Now I left the dishes in the sink for you. I noticed they had your name all over them." Your mom chuckles.
You groan. Of course...

Alrighty! Back to tinyrick1. Oooooweeee!

You grudgingly walk to the sink and see the dishes you had eaten breakfast from the previous morning.
You call from the kitchen, "Mom! I thought you had done the dishes the toe he morning before I left!"
"Yeah, but I didn't get to yours because I had a couple errands to run," she calls back.
"Errands. Pfff," you mumble.
Probably just didn't want to do my own crap for me.
You turn on the water, and pick up a plate. Your phone's text tone sounds.
You pull it out of your pocket and check who texted.
Morty.
You instantly check the message respond, excitement filling your body.

(Sideshowmorty again! Haha!!)
"Hey" it simply read. You smiled at the thought of him unable to be without you for the few minutes you were gone.
"Hi :)" you replied. It would be much easier to call, you realize, but you also keep in mind that maybe he should be the one to call.
"Thanks for coming over and stuff. I had fun!" he says.
"I had fun, too. Maybe I could come over another time" you respond.
That's when he finally calls, which fills you with relief.
"H-h-hey, y/n!" Morty stammers.
"Hi!" You giggle at the sound of his voice. His stuttering causes you to laugh every time. Not out of humor, though. You weren't making fun of him.
"S-s-so... I was making sure you made it home safely." He admits.
"Thanks! I did... To find a pile of dishes to do." You smile.
"Aww, I-I-I hate when that happens. If I were there, I w-wo-would love to help, but Rick is making me go to this dimension and all." Morty explains. "I also called to say, I'm not sure when we're coming back, so remember I'm not home, okay?"
"Oh, it's not like I'm going to barge into your room all the time, now that we're friends." You joke.
"O-o-oh.." Morty hesitates before saying, "I guess I'll talk to you later... When I get b-back. Which, I will call you or s-s-something whenever we do get back.. Heh."
"Okay.." You shrug. You felt so lonely when you ended the call after a short and quick "goodbye".
