It's been almost a week since you've seen Morty, well, in person. You've skyped, called, and texted like crazy. Though you'd seen him about an hour ago on skype, you missed him insanely.

Your family has noticed you've been down lately because you haven't seen Morty in a while.

You're sitting on the couch watching yet another episode of your favorite show. Except this time, it doesn't take your mind off of things. You sigh and stand up, tossing your brother the remote.

You walk to the sliding glass door and look at the pool. You sigh and look at how satisfyingly still the water looks. You decide to go swimming, so you go into your room and change.

As you clasp the back of your swimming top together, you hear your phone go "ding."

You amble over to your phone which you had slung onto the bed. You pick it up and check your messages.

Morty.

You eagerly open his file and see that he has invited you to go to the water park with him.

Um, we were going to go to the water park and I wanted to know if you wanted to come with us?

I'd love to! Does it matter if I wear a two-piece or whatever?

Um, you have to wear a two-piece. Ha! I'm just kidding.

You can imagine his stutter.

Two-piece it is! Lol. Okay, what time should I be at your house?

We can pick you up, if you want to.

Ok. What time are you going to pick me up?

In about half an hour? So, like, 2ish?

Great! I'll be ready.

See you then

K bye

You hop around in excitement that you're going to see Morty again.

You slip a thin, see-through tank top on and bound out of your room.

"Mom! Can I go with Morty and his family to the water park today?" You shout, as you practically slide over the hardwood floor and into the kitchen.

"Sis, don't scream in the house," your mom tells you, voice thick with annoyance.

"But can I?" You ask excitedly.

"I guess, what time?"

"They said they'd pick me up in half an hour," you inform her.

"Okay. Don't forget to put on sunscreen."

You excitedly give her an okay and reach into the cabinets and grab some sunscreen. You spray it on, rubbing it in.

You look at the time on your phone, seeing it's 1:57.

Anxiety fills your stomach, now accompanying the butterflies that had invited themselves in when Morty sent the text.

You sit on the couch, your phone in hand. You nervously tap your foot as you wait for Morty to arrive.

You hear a knock at the door, resulting in you jumping up from the couch, a flurry of excitement. You swing open the door and give a little bounce as you greet Beth.

"Hi, y/n!"

"Come in!" You say, a little too friendly, and open the door further.

She steps in and thanks you, walking up to your mother.
