Person A has become injured running away from some foe (zombie? Axe murderer? Phsyco?) They struggle to keep up with their friends as they run away. Person A falls and watches in horror as person B and their friends don't even notice. They just keep running. Person A knows that their time is up. They give in and wait for their death. (Do they cry? Do they imagine their S/o? Children? Pets?) Soon they are attached by the foe. Through their screams of pain they heard Person B cry out for them, finally noticing their gone. Person A smiles painfully, maybe they shout something to Person B or maybe they just smile.
