I sat on a chair right next to her bed, keeping her hand in mine. She had hope of waking up. We don't know when yet but there is hope. Suddenly her hand I was holding started to clamp down and squirm making me let go immediately. I look at her shocked and her eyes flutter open to those beautiful blue eyes that I feel in love with. I look at her but something seemed to be missing from her eyes.
"W-Who a-are y-you?" she stutter out quietly in a raspy voice.
"I'm Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez....the guy who you-Wait you don't remember?" I ask her.
She shakes her head and then I finally realize the look in her eye that was missing was hurt. I sigh and sit in the chair, looking up at her beautiful features. I frown and she must have noticed because she started to frown too. Mentally I was debating if I should tell her the truth-about our hate relationship, about her family and all of her friends. She taps my shoulder and I snap out of my trance. I raise my eyebrows at her.
"Benny, uh is that okay to call you? Um anyways could you...like explain the relationship between us?" she asks so sweetly.
"Benny is fine. Everyone calls me that. And sure but first what do you remember?" I ask with a smile.
"I remember my family. I remember the car accident, Scotty, Yeah-Yeah, Kenny, Timmy, Tommy and Beatrum. Jackie, Rosa, Georgia, Malena, Sarah and Zoey! Are they okay? Did they come?"she asks and I realize I'm the only one she doesn't remember.
"They are all fine. And you and I, we did have some sort of thing going on when we were fourteen and then one day I got so jealous of one of you friends Philip taking you away all the time. I really liked you. Ever since that day I've been mean too you and since the crash, I realize how stupid it all was. Aqua...I'm so sorry. I never meant to make you want to run away. I never meant for all of this to get this bad. I still like you and I've been told that you did too before you forgot about me. When you were dead for five minutes, thought that I lost you forever. I was so scared.." I say quietly as I look into her blue eyes with my hazel ones.

I look at the boy who looked familiar but I couldn't place a name with his face. I mean he told me it was Benny and it sounded right, but why wasn't everything rushing to me then? He looked so sad when he finished his little speech which clued me in that he really did do somethings that he regrets. I take his hand and smile sweetly at him. My heart was racing and my body was tingling at his touch, and my heart monitor was beeping along with my heartbeat, making my cheeks hot.
"Benny...I'm still here aren't I? You have nothing to worry about, I promise. Just think of this as a new start. I can't remember our past so why don't we recreate a path together?" I ask. He seemed torn up about losing me and he did say that I liked him before the accident, and that he likes me.
"You would do that?" he asks in shock then a huge smile crosses his face as he pulls me into a hug.
"Yeah I would," I laugh and hug him back. "Lets just take this slow and easy and someday we may date. I just want to get to know you better like the old days."
"I get it and I will wait for you. I'll wait for as long as it takes and that includes forever," he says sweetly then kisses my forehead and leaves the room.
Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez....what a nice name for a pretty good looking guy. A blush rise onto my cheeks and I look down at my hands which had some scratches on them from the pavement. I smile brightly feeling my insides turn gooey and my heart was beating a little bit faster. Maybe this memory loss isn't a total bust....
