I rest my head on his shoulder as my tears from earlier make my face hard. My mind was somewhere other than Benny and I sitting in the corner in complete silence. I look at him then stand up, walking to the window to see it raining dogs and cats. Taking a deep breath, I look to Benny and give him a small smile.
"I've liked you for the longest time. Especially when we ran from the beast together, when we would always practice baseball together. Dude, you were my first and only crush. Philips is basically my brother and all those other guys always made me nervous. But none of what you said made it okay to do what you did. You don't push a girl down the stairs because of your jealousy," I say softly as I look back out the window.
I hear him sigh then some shuffling until I feel his breath breathing down my neck. His hands move to my waist causing my heart to start pounding in my chest. He turns me around so I'm staring into his warm hazel eyes, my knees growing weak and my palms sweating. His face gets closer to mine then he stops when he's about five centimeters away from my lips.
"If I could go back in time I would. I wish I could have been around when your sisters gt cancer, I wish it didn't take until you lost your memory and then some bimbo clings on me then kisses me for all of this to happen. So I know I don't deserve it, hell you should slap me for asking but Aquamaria, will you please give me another chance?" Benny asks, his voice sincere and I chuckle.
"Yes Benjamin, of course I'll give you a second chance, after all, my father is in love with you," I laugh and wrap my arms around his neck, my face going into his shoulder as I give him a tight hug.
I heard a shout from the other side of the door making the two of us burst into laughter. The door opens and I see Scotty, Kenny, Tommy, Timmy, Yeah-Yeah, Ham, Squints and Philips standing there with innocent smiles on their faces. I move away from Benny and go to attack Yeah-Yeah but Benny's strong arms wrap around my waist. I huff and relax back into his chest as his chin rest on top of my head, sending Yeah-Yeah my best glare. Yeah-Yeah's face pales and he nervously sends me a cheeky smile.
"Now now Strike, you wouldn't want to kill the boys that helped you two stop being so stubborn and actually admit to each other that you're both crazy for each other," Philips says as he raises his eyebrows at us with a smirk.
My cheeks start to burn, and I look away from him. I hear the boys laugh and Benny's chest shake from him trying to hold in his laugh. I hit him and pout, looking up into his eyes with a playful glare.
"Be nice!" I pout.
"Alright Angel," he says and pecks my cheek, making them flare up even more.
"See you can't be mad at us because this is what you've talked about for-" I cut Kenny off with a glare. "Oh, right...That was a secret.." he mumbles.
I sigh then reply, "Was a secret.."
