Aqua

I look to my mother, my head spinning. I would give anything to be with my mother, to get to know her better but I knew my choice. I needed to go back. I needed to see Benny one last time. I needed him to have a decent conversation with me like we used to. I needed to get rid of all the pain that's built up in me. I sigh and look at the door that suddenly appeared.
"Go child. I promise I am always looking after you from above. Tell your father that I love him too? I don't want him beating himself over what had happened. I'll see you later, and we can watch after my grand kids and great grand kids," she smiles with a wink. I laugh and look at her with wide eyes.
"I have kids? I become a grandmother?" I ask shocked.
"Can't tell you about your future because it can always be rewritten. I love you. Good bye," she blows me a kiss and smiles softly at me.
"Good bye mom. I love you too," I respond with tears in my eyes.
I look to the door and open it. I walk through it and suddenly I feel winded and out of breath. I could faintly hear a scream of surprise and a beeping in the background. My mind slowly drifts out of it as my body feels too heavy for anything else.

Third Person

As Aqua slips out the doctors surround her, wondering how someone dead for five minutes could come back to life. Benny and his cousin Rosa outside hear her heart monitor start beating rhythmically, which makes Benny let out a sigh of relief and his heart does flips of joy. Rosa has tears of joy running down her cheeks, only imagining how Benny feels. Aqua's parents downstairs in the waiting room hug each other in joy. The sandlot boys along with Jackie, and Georgia hug each other in pure happiness. Aqua's siblings wait back at home dreading a phone call that says their beloved sister is dead.
A doctor walks out with shock evident on his face and goes to Benny, thinking that he is Aqua's boyfriend. He looks at his clipboard just to make sure he gets the name right as he smiles at Benny slightly.
"Mr. Rodriguez, it appears that Miss. Ruth-Robinson is going to be okay. She's still in a coma but with the little episode of her coming back to life, odds seem to be in her favor," he says then walks off to tell the rest of the people waiting for Aqua.
Benny runs inside of the room and goes to her bedside, quickly pulling up a chair as he grabs her hand. He takes a deep breath and gives Rosa a look that practically screams 'Please give me a minute with her!' Rosa leaves the room but stays by the door to hear what Benny has to say. Benny looks to Aqua and strokes her cheek sweetly.
"I'm not sure if you can hear me but if you can, I'm sorry. I really am. That day I started being mean to you, I didn't realize your sisters got diagnosed with cancer. I was jealous. Jealousy started this hatred thing between us, but just so you know, I never hated you. I was only upset because that day I heard someone tell me that you were dating Philips. I guess that wasn't true but I didn't know that. And then I dated the slut which I never kissed just so you know. What I'm trying to say is I never meant for any of this to get so far. I never wanted to keep hurting you, but I didn't know a way to go back to our old relationship without you finding out that I liked you. But I want you to know now. I love you now. I love you Aquamaria. I will shout it to the world if I need to because I'm not ashamed. I'm so sorry that I caused this. I know I didn't do it directly but I still did it indirectly which I find three times worst. I love you Aqua, please wake up," Benny says to Aqua with a few tears escaping here and there.
Aqua could hear him through her sheet of darkness. She fought the sheet but ended up failing. She wanted to tell Benny that she felt the same way and then she decided that she will the second she wakes up, whenever that is. She could feel and hear her heart starting to beat faster at Benny's words and Benny noticed that, laughing to himself. He kisses her forehead and Aqua's body starts to explode with tingles and sparks.
