*Merlin*

I've been walking for hours now. I wasn't going back to Camelot. I couldn't. Not after my fight with Arthur. I felt so ashamed. I felt something inside me when I spoke to Arthur, something dark that I couldn't explain. It was like I hated him with all my heart, but I didn't. Not really. I mean maybe I have been blinded by my destiny to realize my hate towards him. The way he spoke to me with such authority like he had the right to invade my personal life. I hated it. It was like he didn't care.

Maybe I should join Marcus, but he hates me. He won't speak to me no matter how many times I've called him in my mind. He blocked me out leaving me alone with Arthur. I couldn't go back to the castle. I refuse to go back.

Before I knew it, it was beginning to get dark. I sensed something in the air; an aroma of hatred and sadness. I slowed my steps and quietly peeked behind a tree. Morgana. She stood in the middle of the forest with logs and sticks in her arms. Her dark hair was a mess from what it used to be. She wore a black dress over her pale body. She didn't seem to notice me. She turned around and I began to follow her slowly. She made it to a small house and opened the door. She said something that I couldn't make out. Someone walked out; a man of whom I couldn't see. I paid no attention to him as I stared at Morgana. She placed the logs and sticks outside the door. She looked around which made me duck out of view. I heard her walk towards her dark brown stallion that peacefully ate an apple from Morgana's hand. I watched as Morgana jumped up on her horse and rode off. I backed away quietly and turned around, but stopped from taking a step. Right in front of me was Marcus in his dark cloak. Everything then went dark.

I was awakened by the splash of water over me. I was on the ground and looked up to see who threw the water. Through my blurred vision, I could see a male outline. Marcus. Damn it.

"Morning sunshine!" He smirked. I glared at him. "Oh, don't give me that look! I have a friend here who is dying to see you." He laughed as he grabbed my arm lifting me up roughly. He tied a blind fold around my eyes. He pushed me forward and we began walking. My hands weren't tied and I could easily escape, but I didn't even try. Something inside me told me to stay. I think Marcus knew that somehow and that's why I wasn't tied or maybe the place we were in was enchanted and I wouldn't be able to get out. Either way, I wasn't leaving.

I was pushed somewhere and caught my balance before I fell to the floor. The blind fold came off, and I looked behind my to find Marcus walking towards the doors. He didn't leave, but lean against the wall instead. I turned my head forward and instantly felt small.

"Hello, Emrys." Her smirk grew as her eyes danced with crazy.

"Morgana," I replied. She laughed and stood up.

"Oh, how you lied to me in the past. Your brother was sweet enough to tell me everything about you. Of course I would love to have your head on a stick for the crows to pick at, but you may become useful to us." Morgana said.

"How am I useful to you?" I asked.

"Your magic. It's more powerful than anything that can be taught. Your magic is of the old religion. You are the last of your kind and as am I. Together, we can amount to anything. No man or woman will be a match to us. So, what do you say?" She asked.

"Are you asking me... to join you?" I questioned back.

"I am. Will you join my army?" She asked again. I looked back at Marcus. He seemed bored. His arms were crossed. The bottom of his right foot rested on the wall. He stared at me with hate, but also reassurance. He was mad at me, but he did want me to join. I turned back to Morgana.

"I will join you." She smiled.

"Welcome to the army, Emrys."
