Chapter 5

I woke up at 6:00, I got dressed and even packed my school bag. My mom was still in bed! Is she sick? 'Mom! We're going to be late.' I shouted.
'Did you not hear, school is cancelled' she said. I may have let out a cheerful scream. Today it was raining though, that's why we're of school, so yeah it's going to be a pretty boring day. (Note: to be honest I would be happier it raining all day, I would just play and draw :). ) I went back to bed for a few hours. Mom made pancakes for breakfast. They smelt delicious, and tasted delicious. 'Any plans for today?' I ask. 'Yes, we're going shopping' she said. No! I hate shopping, my mom gets distracted with everything. I went upstairs to get ready.

'I'm ready' I called. My mom was waiting in the car. I grabbed my umbrella. In the car I heard thunder. I hate the sound of thunder, and I hate the sight of lightning. The drive was about 15 minutes, we got out the car. As I was walking I heard thunder, holding my umbrella to cover my self from the rain. I see a flash in the sky, I don't know but I kind of feel dizzy. I fall to the ground. It feels like I got shot, no it has the same feeling all over my body. Was I struck? By lightning...

What? No lightning cant do such a thing, I was holding a umbrella. How did it hit me? I feel someone lift me up and carry me. All of a sudden I landed on the floor, I did not feel a thing. I opened my eyes everything was so... weird. Flying cars? Where was I, since when was there flying cars. Since now. I get up of the ground to see the nightmare that scientists have been worrying about all this time. The trees where flat, there dead. Nature, gone. What's left? Us. But just before it was all fine. I was walking to the super market with my mom. How did- wait. I was struck wasn't I? I was struck
