31st of July...

'Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you. Happy birthday dear Harry. Happy birthday to you!!' James, Alex and Lily finished singing to their 6 year old brother/son.

Harry smiled at them from his position on the bed. It was his birthday...

"Thanks!" He exclaimed with excitement.

"Harry you need to open your presents!" A hyper 4 year old Lilliana Potter said.

"Come on Harry, come on Daddy," her equally hyper twin Alexander Potter said; grabbing onto his dad arm and tugging his laughing father in the direction to the living room.

"Lets go!" Exclaimed Lily taking her laughing brother by the hand and racing into the living room.

The living room was very modern, with a television and red leather recliners in front of it. Pictures littered the walls of the 4 Potters together. Also on the fire place pictures of their late Mother and their Father and his friends stood proud on top. In the living room there was a modern book shelf full of book ranging from wizarding books to muggle books. The Potter males had dubbed that Lily's corner because that where you would most likely find her. There in the middle of the floor was a fluffy red rug; and on the rug were presents for Harry. Balloons and banners littered the room.

"Wow..." Harry said looking at the presents.

"Open them open them," changed Alex and Lily.

"You would think it was their birthday, their more excited than you!" James said to his eldest son in amusement. Harry laughed and nodded his head in agreement.

"So are you going to open them or what son?" Asked his father.

"Right," Harry said and reached for the nearest present; which happened to be from Lily.

It was a rectangular parcel wrapped with forest green paper- her favourite colour.

'Its probably a book series' Harry thought.

"Open it Harry," Lily practically screamed.

James was looking at them all with a fatherly smile on his face. It had been five years or there about since that Halloween where he had lost his wife. He probably wouldn't marry again , his heart belonged to Lily. He was doing the best he can to raise Harry, Lily and Alex but they were missing a motherly figure but they were coping. 'At least they have a parent' James thought as he watches Harry open his parent to find the Percy Jackson book series.

"Percy Jackson?" Harry asked.

"Yeah, I read it and thought it was very funny so I thought you would want to read it." Lily said.

"Okay," Harry said and reached for the next present. They ranged from pranking equipment (James and Alex), books on pranking (Lily) and sports things (Alex) and other bits and bobs.

After that they just had a family activity filled day from playing sport in their large back garden to playing on the Xbox Kinect and board games. They truly were close even thought all of them were missing something in their hearts they had one another.
