Percy's POV

Like any other day, I was sitting on my unmade bed with a pile of unfinished homework starring me down. I try my best to finish this stuff but swim and other stuff get in the way. Okay, fine, I just really don't like doing homework. I mean, if we do our work at school, why must we repeat it at home were we are supposed to let our brains rest.

Interrupting my thoughts, the growling of my empty stomach echoed in my room. Bouncing off one blue wall to the other. I got off my bed and opened my door. The aroma of food, specifically homemade rolls and turkey, wafted in like little spirals of happiness calling my name. As if on cue my mom called me.

"Percy! Suppers ready. And don't even think about bringing your phone to the table young man!"

I set my phone on my bed as requested and ran down the stairs at full speed. The wall was closer then I remembered which ended with me spattered on it. I grunted in pain but recovered quickly considering there was something much more important then taking my time to recover.  Food of course! I sat down on the opposite side of the table to face my mother and step father. Looking down at the steaming food in front of me. I grabbed my fork and devoured the blue food.

As per usual, we had a family conversation. The only difference was the fact that we were interrupted by a loud rumbling sound that I recognized as a moving truck.

"I see that you noticed the moving trucks?" My step father asks, I nod " We have some new neighbors coming. They are from Italy and should be here time soon."

Instantly there was a knock at the door. I told my parents I would get it. Grabbing my plate and utensils, setting them in the sink as quickly as possible, making sure there was no food on my face then went over to the door. Once the door was open it revealed a woman and a men, most likely husband and wife , standing on either side of a boy who looked about my age but was very much shorter. They obviously weren't American just from the look of them. The boy in the middle was, I assumed, their son. He was much more pale but resembled his father immensely. He was carrying and basket full of stuff that I had no clue what it was but it looked interesting. I gave a smile to them and called over my shoulder.

"Mom, Dad, I think our new neighbors are here."

A/N hey guys, I'm sorry this chapter kinda sucks but i just wanted to update this story. I've been busy with school and haven't been getting much motivation to write. The next chapter with be back in Nico's POV. I just thought it would be interesting to add Percy's POV in here. Anyways, until next chapter, Byyyyyyeee.
