"Happy birthday Sasuke and Lucy!" A young lady said while giving gifts to her children.
My older brother and I's eyes sparkled with excitement.
We were both in sync with opening the gifts hurriedly.
"Calm down, your gifts are not going to run away." As the young teenage boy giggled.
My older brother and I finally rips the last piece of paper and there, it revealed gloves.
Purple for me and black for Sasu-nii-chan.
"It will help you a lot while training." She smiles.
"Thanks mom, I love you." I said while embracing her.
Sasu-nii-chan, Ita-nii-chan, and papa smiled before Sasu-nii-chan thanked mama and embraced her as well.
After eating our breakfast, Ita-nii-chan was getting ready to leave.
Sasu-nii-chan and I ran up to him, pulling and hugging him down.
"Nii-chan, nii-chan can we come with you to train?"
He looked down on us and smiled, "Next time," he said as he poked us both on our foreheads.
I lightly touched my forehead and then hold Sasu-nii-chan's hand.
When Ita-nii-chan was out of our sight, I whispered to Sasu-nii-chan, "Let's follow him, hehe."
We turned seven today. And, we wanted to learn how to be a great ninja like onii-chan.
After that day we've been secretly following and watching him practice. Then after a few days, we asked again.
Miraculously, he agreed. Sasu-nii-chan and I hugged in excitement. We couldn't wait to train!
It was super hard at first but after few weeks, we got the hang of it. After training for a week with onii-chan we met his best friend, Shisui.
I got really close with him. Sometimes, we would hang out in secret, by training of course.
After a few months, Sasu-nii-chan and I were so happy. Then Ita-nii-chan started to act a little distant from us. Even Shi-nii-chan stopped coming to our secret meeting place.
One day, Shi-nii-chan put up a letter at our secret meeting place.
It said, "Lucy, I won't be able to see you for a while. Keep training hard."
By then, I knew something was very wrong. That very night, I went to follow Shi-nii-chan. He stopped next to a cliff, and just when I was about to approach him, Ita-nii-chan went over to him.
They were talking but I couldn't make a sense of it. It seemed very serious and then...Shi-nii-chan started to fall.
My eyes started to boil, changing colors. I unconsciously unlocked my sharigan.
I ran as fast as I can, catching him but that only made us both fall.
As we were falling Ita-nii-chan, yelled and tried to reach my hand but he was too late. I looked at him, mouthing, "...I love you," as we both fall in depths of the river.
I closed my eyes and held Shi-nii-chan tight, waiting for the impact. But it never came. When I opened my eyes, Shi-nii-chan's lifeless body was on my arms and we were on a road somewhere.
I was stricken by grief seconds late and wailed, by then a couple found us and took us to a hospital.
They were worried that I was injured as well.
"My child, are you alright?" Said the beautiful lady.
"..."
"We're both sorry for your lost. Do you know where your family is at?"
"...I-I don't know where I am."
They both looked at each other and smiled.
"My child, would you like to come with us?"
I nodded at her question.
After a few years, I lived peacefully with Layla and Jude Heartfilia.
They adopted me as their daughter, my name was now Lucy Heartfilia. But, I still want to be Lucy Uchiha. I still want to go back, every day I wondered how my family are.
Fortunately, my adopted parents agreed to keep Shi-nii-chan's grave at our backyard, where I can visit him very often. Since he's the only memory I have of home. Though, I don't even remember how I got here.
Whenever I miss home, Layla-sama fills that void. She reads books to me and tells me stories about her celestial keys.
She even introduced me to MissAquarius. She was my first friend I made here and I cherish her very much. Though, she's a feisty one.
I was once again so happy but then Layla-sama suddenly died from an illness. In her will, she gave me the inheritance to all of her celestial keys.
When I turned eleven, I gave Jude-sama an onigiri but he threw them on the ground because I was bothering him during his work.
It seemed that after Layla-sama died, he became so engrossed in his work that he didn't care for me anymore.
So, one day I decided to leave home. He wouldn't care whether or not I did anyways. However, after walking for half an hour, I quickly regretted my decision and went back. Then, a group of wolves started to come at me.
I didn't want to go home and give troubles to Jude-sama so I went to the other way. I kept running and running until I was at a cliff.
I developed a sense of fear towards cliff after that day. But the wolves kept coming closer and closer then I was even more closer to the edge of the cliff.
Then suddenly, I lost my footing and fell. I closed my eyes and clenched my fist. Once again, I waited for that splash but it didn't came as well.
Instead, I was at the center of a street. I looked around me and it seemed very familiar.
I knew that street and those stores. I knew my way around here, so I ran and ran. Until, I found my home...
It was covered with yellow tape and no one was around. I went inside and nothing. I ran and ran all the way to my house and frantically went inside looking for my family. And nothing.
My legs wobbled and I collapse to the floor. I cried so loudly and so much that it seemed almost like a river.
Then suddenly, I felt a presence behind me. I looked and there stood an old man. He looked surprised but composed at the same time.
"..."
I sniffed, "Who are you?"
"I'm the third hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi."
I stood up, "Nice to meet you, I'm Lucy He-Uchiha," and bowed.
"Could you please tell me what happened to my family?"
