The pep rally seemed to drag on and on, it wasn't really my scene but I decided to go just to check it out.
I left a few minutes after it ended and stopped by Pop's on the way home, I felt safe there. When I walked in I saw the two girls from my first day of school, Betty and Veronica sitting across from each-other giggling. I made my way over "can I join you guys?" I asked, and they nodded warmly. "Sure thing girl" Veronica smiled brightly and scooted over to give me room, they made me feel welcomed and the place was soon filled with laughter 'this town may be trying to screw be over but at least I have friends for once' I thought to myself. The familiar sound of the door opening caught everyone's attention, I saw Jughead, and the same ginger boy, my stomach twisted but I couldn't tell why. "Do you guys wanna join us?" Betty asked, her voice snapping me out of my daze, the pair exchanged glances before Jughead stepped forward "yes, but only if you're treating" he said. I flashed him a smile which he returned. Jughead squished himself between me and Veronica while Archie scooted in next to Betty. Of course, the little shit stole my cherry
A G A I N so when his milkshake came I returned the favor. I barely got to finish the cherry before it hit me, the time, I was supposed to be at the Whyte Wyrm in 3 minutes. "Shit" I mumbled as I stood up "I have to go, I'll see you guys at school" I took one more sip of my milkshake before walking out.
