It was a stormy afternoon, lightning could be seen flashing in the distance and thunder crashed and roared soon after every blink of light. The rain poured down ferociously, as if someone coated their bullets in acid. A young man ran under it all, fatigue clear in his ragged breaths. He ran as far as his legs could carry him and he managed to make his way to a steep cliff. As he skid to a stop he drew out his weapon and turned around in one quick motion, his beaten sword shaking in his hands. He has no idea who his enemy is, but he knew that he wouldn't make it out of this one alive. A strike of lightning blinded him for a split second and he covered his eyes with his arm, he lowered his guard. As he slowly lowered his arm down he felt something sharp stab and make its home in his stomach and blood rapidly soaked his shirt, he was done for...

A young man woke up and quickly sat up as beads of sweat rolled down his face, his breathing shaken. He sighed in relief that he appeared in his bed, "Another one of those dreams..." he muttered. He shook his head and stood up, after putting his feet inside his monster slippers he made his way to the bathroom to take a brisk shower. He felt refreshed as the warm water hit his aching body. He rubbed the bar of soap all over his chest making sure he cleaned all of the sweat afterwards.

"Hey Ashton, what do you want for lunch?" asked a young man around his age. Ashton pressed the PAUSE button on his controller and lowered his headset, he turned towards the other young male and replied. "Well Alex, what do you want?" Alex glared under his glasses, "I was asking you, but now that you ask... I was feeling some burgers." Ashton smirked at Alex, "Well then, shall we go?" he nodded and went to grab the keys to his car.

Alex climbed into the driver seat. Buckling his seatbelt, he inserted the key into the engine and turned it forward, the engine roaring awake. "Good girl." He muttered to himself just as Ashton made his way in. "Stop calling it a her! Jesus, Alex I swear you have an obsession with that damn car..." he buckled his seatbelt and crosses his arms, his words venom in Alex's ears. Good thing was, he had the perfect comeback. "Look who's talking, the one who names his gaming consoles~!"

He smirked, making a right turn at the intersection. Ashton let out an offended gasp. "A name gives the item both soul and power, so you better take that back you son of a-" "Son of a what, Ashton?! I dare you to finish that fucking sentence!" Ashton turned his head away, holding back his frustrated tears, he never wanted to offend Alex like this. "I said finish it asshole!" Alex yelled as he made a sharp left, the tires screeching and squealing under the vehicle. Ashton tried his hardest to hold on to the seat, his body being thrashed around harshly. He instinctively took of his seatbelt, it was a bad habit he had since he started taking his pills while he drove, and he was sent head first into the dashboard, knocking him unconscious.

The car made its final spin, screeching to a halt. Alex took very deep breaths to try and calm down from such a jealous rage. He closed his eyes and hung his head low, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have talked to you like that..." he waited for a reply but none came. "Ashton?" He opened his eyes and looked at his knocked out friend, eyes widening. "Shit! Ashton?! Ashton can you hear me?!" He shouted softly as he shook his limp body. He grabbed Ashton's shoulders tightly and pulled him up so he could see his face. There was a huge scar on his forehead and blood cascaded down his face slowly. Alex gasped, he couldn't believe that this was all his fault. Alex took his phone out of his pocket and quickly dialed 911. He tried calling Ashton again, nothing. "Fuck, pick up already..." just as he finished his sentence he suddenly felt a pain in his chest, he struggled to breathe.

The car jerked up and flipped in the air, it was an incredible sight for all who witnessed it for it moved on its own. It was as if powerful magnetic waves suddenly took hold of the vehicle. Alex clutched his chest, thinking of what just happened. Ashton's eyes creaked open slightly, something similar to a galaxy was reflected on his eyes. Alex's chest glowed and all pain subsided, he felt free...he felt powerful. The car took its final flip and landed face down, both males hits their heads on the roof were they now lay unconscious. A phone clicked, signaling that the call finally connected. A frail but professional sounding voice came out of the receiver. "Emergency service what seems to be the problem?" Nothing....
"Hello? ...is anyone there?" A weak groan suddenly rang out.

"Sir? Sir?! Can you hear me?!" Silence again, her tone was much more worried this time. "Sir, I'm tracing your location now. Please hang on for as long as you can!" The woman said worriedly in a commanding tone, yet again she heard silence. All who witnessed wouldn't dare to approach the car, they feared they would suffer a similar fate given by the supernatural, except for one. This young man approached them without fear, he ran towards the vehicle and struggled to get them out of the car. He checked for both their pulses and their breathing and once he noted that both were present he left a note and ran away.

"You owe me big time after this, strangers. Meet me once your discharged by the old cavern by the quarry. -Abel"
