Chase

Hindi ako makatulog after ng party na iyon.  Nandito na ako sa bahay pero ang isip ko ay nasa kay Bhon pa rin. 

Ano bang nangyari sa kanya? Bakit sila nagkahiwalay ni Kylie? Anong dahilan? Third party?

Inis akong bumangon at lumabas ng room.  Bumaba ako sa kusina para uminom ng malamig na tubig. 

Umupo ako sa high chair at kinuha ang phone ko.  I decided to stalk him on Facebook.  Maybe I could get some hints about what happened to them. 

I searched for his name and opened his profile.  Wala ng pictures nila roon ni Kylie. Wala ng sweet statuses akong nabasa.  At mas lalong nag-iisa na lang siya sa kanyang profile picture. 

Na dapat naman talaga.  It's your Facebook account kaya bakit ka magpo-profile picture na dalawa kayo di ba? Malilito ang iba kung sino sa inyo si ganito at kung sino sa ganyan. 

Seriously! Those people having profile pictures with their girlfriends or boyfriends are vain.  And I really hate that thing.  Tssss. 

Gumuhit ang ngiti sa aking labi nang makitang online siya.  Icha-chat ko ba? Anong sasabihin ko sa kanya?

Wala pa kaming previous conversation sa Messenger. I composed a message for him.

Habang nagtitipa ako ng sasabihin ay ang lakas ng kalabog ng puso ko. 

Ako:
Can't sleep?

Huminga muna ako ng malalim bago ko sinend iyon sa kanya. 

Sent.

Delivered.

Seen.

Typing...

Seen.

Seen.

Typing...

Seen.

Active a minute ago.

Nalaglag ang puso ko. Kinurap-kurap ko ang aking mga mata habang nakatitig sa screen ng phone ko.

He saw my message.  He read it.  But he didn't reply.  And then he logged out right after I messaged him. 

Biglang kumirot ang puso ko. 

But then again...HE'S TYPING...

He's about to send something! Pero hindi niya lang tinuloy. He wanted to say something,  to reply something but he stopped himself. 

Why?

I don't know.

But knowing he's typing...does it mean something?

Ayokong maging assuming pero...gusto kong umasa. 

Muli kong inopen ang profile niya.  I clicked his profile picture and downloaded it. 

I made his picture as my wallpaper. 

What? It's my phone's wallpaper! Not my Facebook's profile picture.  Duh!

Tumayo na ako at bumalik sa aking kwarto.  Bago ko ipinikit ang aking mga mata ay tiningnan ko pa ang wallpaper ng phone ko. 

In this picture,  he's sitting in a bench with a fountain as his background.  He's wearing a plain white V-neck shirt and faded pants.  Naka-itim siyang cap.  His arms are extending on the bench like he owns it. 

He's not smiling.  But this picture can make you smile like a complete idiot.
