Chapter One: The End of School

By now, it was seventh period, study hall, the last class for the day, and afternoon announcements were about to come on. Of course the office lady was talking 'crap' as they called it, when they were done they were congradulating Jamie!

"Good afternoon, students! We are very excited for our very own, Talented student, Jamie Anderson, She is going to the most haunted place in the state, the SeelBach Hotel. She is the only girl brave enough to go on Halloween night, now of course there is one more person going to help support, and help the haunting hotel with Jamie." Mrs. Kristen said on the announcements, everyone was proud of Jamie, everyone was.

Some of the people in her class were shouting,You're amazing Anderson!!" Jamie then thought to herself and asking,"Is that the name of it? Cool!" She then heard the most beautiful voice she'd ever heard.

"Hey, that's where I'm going!!" Joseph Griffian was saying while sitting down next to Jamie. That means that she would get to spend the weekend with him in the same building!! And maybe even alone too.

"That's great, What number, cause I---," The teacher had shushed her and told her,"That's a romantic opportunity, but you do need to be quiet, like the rest of us." A few minutes went by and Jamie noticed that Joseph was writing a number on a piece of paper, "Five-twenty-six." "That's the room I'm staying in, I mean it is a giant penthouse, but, wait are we doing the investigation together?" Jamie wondered. Silence filled the air. they believed it was fate, but were they wrong?After all, she was more excited about the trip than the hotel, she just couldn't believe that she would be in the same room with the cutest boy in school, for ghost hunting. It was almost locker time, "Katie, we need to talk at lockers, K?" Jamie blurted. "I gotta tell you some stuff and ask you a question."

"Uhhhh, surrreee," Katie was always afraid of Jamie questions, they were either scary, romantic, boy troubles, or just plain creepy. Katie might have been Jamie's bestfriend, but she was still terrified.

"DING DONG, DING DONG, DUNNN, DUNNN,DUNNNNN," the bell was officially had rang, but it was time for Jamie and Katie to talk about a 'question'. "C'mon Katie, it's time for lockers,' Jamie said nudging Katie.

"Okay, let's go to lockers," Katie said a little bit depressingly.
