Chapter three: The Dinner
Of course they thought that almost crashing once they were near the hotel, was a coincidence, but it was the ghost of the yard, trying to scare them away. Sadly, for that ghost Jamie walked right in the front door waiting for the Manager to give her the room key, calmy, and quietly. "Beep, Beep, Beep!" Jamie's phone went off. She thought it was Kat but it was a missed call from... JOSEPH... she couldnt believe her luck in seeing him, but things were going to be weirder.
A few minutes later the front door opened. There was a tall, Blonde boy standing there, back towards Jamie, complaining about the investigation that would be going on later. Well, Joseph wasn't scared of it, he had forgot some of his 'special' equiptment at home. Joseph was very excited to stay in the haunted hotel with Jamie, he had promised his 'bros' pictures of the investigation, he was most concerned about showing Jamie that he liked her. Anyway, back to Jamie, she wasn't frightened about the room arrangements, she was frightened more about her messing up with the ghosts, but neverless she was very anxious to start the investigation. But there is another reason... Joseph would see her bed head, her eating habits, and her getting out of the shower at mornings.
"JOSEPH GRIFFIAN, JAMIE ANDERSON, YOU ARE BEING CALLED FOR DINNER TO THE PENTHOUSE SUITE, here's your room key," The intercom manager called.
"We're coming... you ready Anderson?!" Joseph said walking to the elevator with Jamie. Jamie nodded her head. Of course, knowing her grandmother she would spoil them with junk-food. Well, it WAS pizza night, but it was too awkward to eat in the kichen so Jamie started texting Kat, and eating her dinner in her bedroom for the weekend. About ten minutes later, Joseph informed Jamie that the adults were going to sleep for a while before we start the investigation.
"hey," Joseph said trying to spark up a conversation.
"What are you doing here?!" Jamie pestered him for the answer.
"Well, I wanted to talk to you about some stuff, you know before we start the investigation, I dont want it to be awkward all night, ya know," Jospeh said as he started to sit down on the velvet couch by Jamie's personal bedroom kichen.
"Okay?" Jamie said kind of creeped out. Silentness explored the room for a few minutes.
"Pssst," Silence, "Psst," Slience, a few what was that's here and there, and,"Oh, come on, listen to me, you can't ignore me forever!" A voice said with a little sass.
"Who the heck are you?!" Jamie shouted.
"I'm Aubria, your ghost guardian, while you guys are here. A mentor, an informer, Casper, well his wife anyway, oohh and a gossip girl!" Aubria said.
"I didn't know that Casper had a wife, that's unatural!" Joseph had said. The true was, no one knew exactly that Casper had a wife, they kept it a secret, but only certain, special people knew.
"Come on children, let's go to my secret lair," Aubria said while motioning to Jamie's king sized bed, while the bed was lifting in the air as if the bed was a murphy bed.
"Uhhh, there's nothing there, Aubria," the teens said.
"Gosh Dernitt, now why won't it work?" Aubria thought, "Oh, here's the problem, children go turn on that second switch," The teens did as they were told, and flipped the switch, Aubria motioned once again to the bed, and the bed once again lifted, showing the teens a glimpse of a purple shimmery, light with some clearness, enough to see the inside of Aubria's Lair.
