"Hey, Bianca. Your handsome date is downstairs waiting for you." Her mom said as she stood on her doorway.
"Oh, okay mom. I'll be right down. Thank you." She answered looking at her mom from the mirror of her dresser as she continued applying her lipstick.
A few minutes later, she came down to meet her date, who was patiently waiting for her in the living room.
"You look amazing, hon." He greeted her with a peck on the cheek as soon as she reached him.
"Thank you, honey." She responded giving him a hug.
"Are you ready to go?" He asked her.
"Yeah. I just need to check on Taekwon before we go, okay?" She said as she straightened his tie.
"Sure, sweetie." He responded.
"Mommy?" A small voice said from the top of the stairs.
"Taekwon-a, why are you still awake, baby?" Bianca said running up the stairs to meet her son.
"I was waiting for you to read me a story, mommy." The little boy answered his mom.
"Taetae, nana will read you the story tonight. Mommy needs to go somewhere, okay?" Bianca's mom answered for her.
"Is that okay, bud? I am not going to be out too long. I'll read you a story tomorrow night, okay?" Bianca asked.
"Uhmm..no." Taekwon answered.
"Why not, sweetie?" She asked, puzzled by her son's answer.
"Tomorrow, we need to practice Korean, mommy." The little boy reminded.
"Oh, right! Tomorrow is Korean lessons. I completely forgot." Bianca answered pretending to scratch her head.
"You can't forget! We are going to see daddy in.." Taekwon paused counting his fingers.
"How many days again, nana?" He finally asked looking at his grandma.
"Five days, darling." His grandma answered.
"Right. We are going to see daddy in five days, mommy! He said, I should practice." Taekwon said sticking out his tiny hand with fingers spread widely showing his mom for emphasis.
"Yes, sir! For now, read the story with nana. Tomorrow, you and mommy will practice, okay?" She said giving her son a kiss.
"Okay! I can't wait to tell daddy all the things I have learned in school and show him how good I am now with Korean! I will show him my new toy car, too!" The little boy blabbed excitedly.
"Okay. For now, let's get inside the room. Mommy and Christian needs to go." His grandma said as she lead him back into his room.
"Bye, Christian!" He exclaimed, waving his hand vigorously at Christian who was now at the foot of the stairs.
"Bye, bud! See you tomorrow!" Christian said, waving his hand too.

"B! Over here!" Sam shouted as she waved both her hands in the air to get Bianca's attention.
Bianca and Taekwon just landed in South Korea for their regular semi annual trip to visit their friends and Taekwon's dad and grandparents since they moved back to the Philippines.
"Sam!" Bianca waved a free hand towards her best friend.
"Taetae, baby, let's go. Sam is over there." She said carrying her son and sitting him on top of their luggage on and started pushing the cart towards the exit.
"Sammy!" Taekwon screamed in delight as soon as he saw Sam's bright smile.
"Taekwonie!" Sam ran towards them.
"Hey, sis." Bianca said as they hugged.
"Me! Me! Me!" Taekwon shouted.
"Come here, you little cutie-pie!" Sam said pulling the little boy into a tight hug.

"So, how is everything?" Bianca asked as soon as they hopped in the car.
"Before we start with anything, call Taehyung first. He told me to ask you to call him as soon as you land." Sam said as she handed a phone to Bianca.
"That is so Taehyung." She laughed as she started dialing his number.

Bianca: Hey! We are here.
Taehyung: Are you at the apartment?
Bianca: Not yet. We just got in the car. We are stopping by somewhere to get food before we head to the apartment.
Taehyung: Okay. I'm still working so, I'll see you and Taetae tonight?
Bianca: Okay. Here's your son. Bianca said passing the phone to Taekwon.

Taekwon: Hi daddy! Where are you? Apartment? I brought my toy car. Christian helped me build it. I will show you later.
Taehyung: I'm still working, bud, but, I'll see you tonight. Okay? We will play with that toy car that uncle Christian built.
Taekwon: He is not uncle Christian, daddy. He is..
