Whisked Away to Some Place Called Vidalia

Jenna flares up like a signal beam.

"This is my house!" she screams. "I cannot allow strangers to crawl in as they please!"

Instead of losing her cool, the girl says in an amused tone, "Is Lycaeon getting to you? Anger and jealousy is a bad trait, little girl. So I'd advise you to keep your mouth shut if you have those traits."

 "How dare you little--"

Amphitrite interrupts. "Jenna, she could blast you away into dust. Let it be."

The girl curtly nods. "I'm assuming you're not the Warrior, and you--" The girl tilts her head at Amphitrite. "You smell like a Faerie. You, though..." She inclines her head to me. "I can see you're the one."

"Fairies?" Lily's voice drips with sarcasm.

"Faeries, spelled with an e instead of an i in the third letter. They're reference to water elementalists. Warriors are those who master all." The girl is pretty, with the curve of her brow and her eyes showing the traits of a Chinese. Her hair is dark and flowing, and her eyes are luminous brown. She seems like seventeen, but her height is like a fifteen-year-old's. She looks like a normal teen, except for the knife at her waist. Her fingers are slender. An artist for sure.

"You're Hero, right?" I dare to utter the words.

The girl smiles. "I go by it now. I used to go by Celestia. But Airillia, the leader of the Mystics, or the Air elementalists, discovered my power when she came to the human world to look for elementalists. She was kind to me but when I revealed I had more than one element...well, all of them, actually....she renamed me Hero and she took me to Vidalia."

"Airillia? What a name." Jenna snickers, while Hero turns her pale eyes on her.

"Well. I see we've got a stubborn one." Hero's fingers extend and Jenna jerks for a moment as she cries out. Hero looks worn out and tired as she pulls it back and Jenna collapses on the couch.

 "What was that?" I ask.

"I took control of her mind and temporarily disabled it so she would stop freaking bothering me." Hero looks satisfied. Lily takes Jenna's limp, rag-doll-like body and carries it.

"We're going to Vidalia." Hero points to the sky. "I've got to teach you some stuff and introduce you to the kingdoms. Kyonnes, the leader of the Dragons and the fire elementalists, and Tsukune, the leader of the Faeries, the water elementalists, are not going to be happy people. They took a long time to accept me. But you have a chance with Solara. The Horizons don't have an official leader, so their fighter princess leads them, basically." Hero closes her eyes, and my body feels light and heavy at the same time as a breeze carries out of the window and floats us all toward the sky.
